Based in Elmhurst, IL, with travel requirements to Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
QUALIFICATIONS
1-2 years of experience in digital marketing or a related field, Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, or Public Relations preferred, advanced knowledge of social media platforms, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Social Media Specialist to enhance digital marketing efforts, improve company reputation, and maximize ROI through creative content and effective social media management.
The goal is to create a positive image for the Company, improve our virtual reputation, and increase awareness of the Company and the EMS industry in general. This position will directly support the objectives of the marketing, operations, and human resources department.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing revenue through digital media through designing and executing marketing campaigns. After campaigns have been launched, you will extract and analyze data across multiple channels.
- One or more years of professional video and photography experience
- Excellent filming, photography, and editing skills
- Degree in graphic design or marketing preferred
- Must have a passion for photography and videography
- Ability to multitask on multiple projects at once
- Helping prepare pre-production shoots
- Thorough knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- You will play a critical role in creating fun, interesting, and educational content for our social media channels, and you’ll support our content team by creating graphics as needed for blog posts, emails, webinars, and more
- Tell our brand and product story on digital channels, creating new and leveraging existing content to expand our reach and impact
- Candidate will have proficient knowledge and training in non-linear video editing on Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere Pro, Mac OS, After Effects, Motion, Photoshop and Lightroom
- Work with the marketing team to support long-form content (blog articles, eBooks, guides, webinars, emails, etc.) with infographics, short videos, branded images, and more
- Support various marketing campaigns with a social media strategy based on our goals and objectives
- Enthusiasm for working with writers and other content creators to come up with fun, engaging ideas for social media posts
- Ability to iterate upon existing content by turning it into different types of content (infographics, short videos, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Displays a friendly, energetic and personable attitude
- Ability to set goals, track your progress, and report your impact

- Work closely with marketing team members to try new ideas, keep on top of industry talking points and important conversations, and generally be a subject matter expert in all things social media
- Reliably commute or plan to travel to multiple stations throughout our organization. May travel to Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin. (Required)

- One to two years proven work experience in digital marketing or related field.

- Excellent written and verbal skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, employees, and clients (when necessary).
- Well organized with strong attention to detail/accuracy.
- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
- Digital Literacy and previous data driven decision making
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates. Capability of effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
