Social Media Specialist
LOCATION
Remote (Must reside in the United States and work 9am-5pm EST, Monday - Friday)
QUALIFICATIONS
2-3 years of experience in social media management, 1-2 years in Facebook paid advertising, experience with Adobe Photoshop, and a portfolio showcasing past social media work.

Seeking a knowledgeable and strategic Social Media Specialist to create dynamic content, manage campaigns, and engage audiences across multiple social media platforms.
Rocket Marketing and Design is an award winning, full service Internet marketing and web design company in Miami, FL.
We are looking for a Social Media Specialist who is knowledgeable, strategic and enthusiastic about all things social to join our team.
This position will require the knowledge and competence of copywriting and designing artwork for the posts.
No offshore, outsourcing applicants of any kind will be considered.
Must live in the United States and be able to work 9am-5pm EST, Monday - Friday.
Job Summary
- Create dynamic written content
- Schedule social media posts weekly
- Create monthly content calendar
- Daily optimization of paid social media spends across platforms.
- Create measurable paid social programs that are on brand, strategy and budget.
- Utilize social tools and other online tools to identify opportunities
- Compile and analyze data and reports on a monthly basis
- Upadte clients on progress of their campaigns.
Requirements
- 2-3 years minimum of experience creating and managing content on social media.
- 1-2 years of experience in Facebook paid ads.
- Familiarity with each platform's best practice and the ability to request content with those in mind.
- 1-2 years minimum on content creation, scheduling and publishing and managing content on social media.
- Must be able to present a portfolio on social media work in the past.
- Adobe Photoshop experience (has to be able to create a social media graphics)
Core Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and manage social media content across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter etc.)
- Execute and support both paid and non-paid social campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, content creation and management.
- Planning and creating a monthly content calendar that includes all copywriting and curation of on-brand assets and creatives.
- Conceptualize and launch impactful and unique social media campaigns to foster engagement with our audience.
- Track and derive insights from our monthly key metrics for our social media clients.
- Categorizing and reporting on non-paid social strategies and working our paid advertising to combine data and analytics when pertinent.
- Work closely with and report directly to VP on all things social
