Seeking a creative and proactive Social Media Specialist to drive brand awareness and customer engagement for NAYA, a fast-growing Middle Eastern street fare brand.

Position Overview:
The Social Media Specialist will work closely with the Brand Manager to create, execute, and monitor social media strategies to increase brand awareness, foster customer engagement, and drive foot traffic to our multiple restaurant locations in NY, NJ, PA, CT, and MA. This role is perfect for someone who is creative, proactive, organized, and has a true passion for food and storytelling. - Content Creation & Planning:
- Collaborate with the Brand Manager to brainstorm and develop engaging content that showcases NAYA’s food, culture, and values across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Produce high-quality visual and written content (photos, videos, captions, etc.) to align with brand standards and appeal to target audiences.
- Community Engagement:
- Actively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and cultivate meaningful relationships within the online community.
- Along with Brand Manager, Identify, establish, and nurture relationships with influencers, brand advocates, and partners, managing collaborations to amplify NAYA’s reach and visibility.
- Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics and KPIs (engagement, reach, impressions, etc.).
- Provide monthly reports and insights to the team, using data to refine strategies and optimize content performance.
- Trendspotting:
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in social media and the restaurant industry, identifying opportunities to incorporate them into NAYA’s strategy.
- Experiment with new platforms, tools, and features to keep NAYA’s social presence fresh and innovative.
- Collaboration & Organization:
- Work cross-functionally with the marketing team and other departments to align messaging and ensure consistent branding.
- Maintain an organized content calendar and ensure timely posting across platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the restaurant or food industry.
- Thorough technical understanding of the primary social platforms in the space (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Facebook)
- Excellent written and visual communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience analyzing performance metrics and adjusting strategies based on data insights.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for food and a love for talking about culinary experiences.
- Flexible, responsive, level-headed and quick thinking.
- Proactive, assertive, collaborative and resourceful with strong attention to detail.
- Organized, positive, respectful and supportive.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends, as needed, for special events and real-time social media coverage
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and video editing software.
- Experience with social media scheduling and analytics platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
- Knowledge of influencer marketing and partnerships.
