About the Role
We are looking for a creative and results-driven social media specialist to join Lyra’s social media team. This role will support the day-to-day management of Lyra’s social media channels and community—including managing our tools and workflows, reporting and monitoring, community management, and content development. The right candidate knows the ins and outs of social media channels, tools, and analytics, is a strong writer and content creator, and is passionate about the ever-changing social media landscape. This candidate should be excited to learn and grow as part of a social media team and passionate about working in the mental health space. They should also understand that individual identity is a core component of mental health, and be able to blend sensitivity, awareness, and logic with a passion for advocacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Copy and creative development for evergreen editorial and social-led content
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a design and video team, familiarity with Canva
  • Identify and quickly create proposals for real-time content opportunities
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teammates in Product Marketing, Events, Content, Growth Marketing, Provider Marketing, Customer Marketing and more
  • Potential to contribute to strategy-building for key cross-functional and social-led campaigns and content
  • Content management for employee advocacy and customer advocacy
  • Distribute key content to employee advocacy tool for approval
  • Monitor and track key customer mentions for distribution
  • Content scheduling, publishing, and real-time calendar optimization
  • Own the majority of content drafting, scheduling, and tagging within Sprout Social and Asana
  • Ensure DEIB and real-time world event considerations are applied to all content
  • Daily monitoring and community management of all channels
  • Own reactive engagement and tracking of brand mentions, comments, and messages, adhering to engagement playbook
  • Ensure brand consistency in copy and creative through tone, voice, and terminology
  • Foster engagement and build a thriving social media community
  • Serve as an advocate for mental health
  • Own inbound requests from cross-functional partners for social media content, reporting, listening, etc.
  • Use Sprout Socialand Asana to manage, prioritize, and assign requests
  • Support the development and expansion of our core social media strategy and social-led programming
  • Identify new opportunities to elevate Lyra’s social media presence and programming
  • Support Head of Social and Senior Social Media Specialist with day-to-day needs
  • Potential to own the launch and management of net new social media channels (i.e. Instagram, TikTok)

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of social media marketing; diverse industry (i.e. tech, healthcare, lifestyle, etc.) and audience (i.e. B2B, B2C) background preferred
  • Knowledge of major social platforms (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and social media tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Canva)
  • Experience developing social media content and copy that drives engagement with key audiences and supports business goals
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Keen eye for detail, including attention to word interpretation
  • Project management skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency with visual design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and project management tools (i.e. Asana, JIRA) a plus
  • Experience with influencer, paid, and employee advocacy programs a plus
As a full-time Social Media Specialist you will be employed by Lyra Health, Inc. The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $68,000-104,000. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location.

At Lyra, base salary is only one aspect of an employee’s total compensation package, which additionally may include discretionary restricted stock unit awards, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, and retirement benefits. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
