Role Description

This is a part-time WFH role with exception to on-site shoot days for a Social Media Marketing Manager located in Southern California. Around 2-4 shoot days per month. Flexible working hours (NOT a strict 9-5) with varied week-to-week duties.

The Social Media Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing social media & influencer campaigns across various platforms. They will also analyze campaign performance through 3rd party sites, generate insights, and work with cross-functional teams to develop engaging content.

Responsibilities

• Manage influencer outreach and ongoing relationships
• Ideate, film, and edit short-form videos for social platforms
• Create content ideas and detailed shot lists
• Leverage third-party tools for feed mapping, content planning, reporting, etc.
• Handle account management, prop sourcing, and attend client calls
• Develop witty, pun-filled captions that engage audiences
• Feed mapping and overall social media strategy
• Represent the agency in a client-facing role

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social media marketing, managing social media platforms, and influencer outreach campaigns
• Strong understanding of social media analytics and tracking tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
• Personal vehicle for on-location shoot days in LA
• Ability to manage time effectively and balance independent work

This role is designed to be flexible, typically requiring around 25–35 hours per week. While some weeks may approach 40 hours depending on workload and time management, the position allows for a work-life balance suited to individual productivity. Candidates with strong organizational skills will find this role can comfortably fit within a flexible weekly schedule.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
