QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree preferred, 3-5 years of experience in the sports industry, in-depth knowledge of action sports, excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a passion for Monster Energy sponsored sports.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Sports Marketing Manager - Monster Army is responsible for building a community of athlete ambassadors in snowboarding and skiing, managing operations and relationships, and creating cohesive marketing programs.
The Sports Marketing Manager - Monster Army is responsible for building and maintaining a robust community of Monster Army athlete ambassadors, particularly in snowboarding and skiing. This role involves recruiting, developing, and managing a winning athlete team, administering contracts, overseeing invoices and payouts, ensuring athletes have branded materials, and fostering relationships with athletes, parents, and industry professionals. The manager will work with global category managers and internal teams to create a cohesive program, participate in athlete selection and contract administration, manage program operations and day-today activities.

Essential Job Functions:
- Recruit top athletes through web-based applications, research, industry, events, and relationships.
- Manage and maintain athlete profiles on a web-based platform.
- Plan budgets and oversee financial stability.
- Manage day-to-day operations to ensure smooth functioning
- Oversee invoices, cash payouts, and contracts.
- Distribute payouts through the Monster Army Paid to Podium system.
- Provide guidance on and manage athlete contracts.
- Work with Global Category Managers to create cohesive athlete teams, video projects, and events.
- Develop digital content with internal and external partners.
- Attend athlete events to foster and strengthen relationships.
- Collaborate with other departments to utilize athletes and properties effectively.
- Foster a deep connection and dedication to the brand among athletes.
- Create industry relationships and sponsorship opportunities for the Monster Army brand.
- Ensure athletes have necessary tools, branded materials, clothing, and accessories.
- Ship orders for athletes
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or relevant industry experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in the sports industry with lifestyle brands, athletes, and sports properties.
- In-depth knowledge of action sports and the industry.
- Experience in media and content generation with athletes and sports properties.
- Passion for Monster Energy sponsored sports and lifestyles, with excellent knowledge of the brand.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively within a team and externally.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel 40-60%, including weekends and holidays.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to present new ideas clearly.
- Team player with strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to use a CMS to upload text, photos, and videos online.
- Expert snowboarder and/or skier who understands the landscape.
- Photographic/video skills a plus.
Base Pay Range USD $65,000.00 to USD $78,000.00
