QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in law or a relevant field, 3+ years of experience working with contracts or in a legal role, strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, in-depth knowledge of contract documents, previous experience with B2B sales is preferred.

What is my day to day like?

As our Senior Contract Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing Operations (SAMO) team to support our business-to-business (B2B) sales by creating, negotiating, and managing contracts between Sabert and our customers. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of regulations, contract agreements, and legal terminology to ensure all aspects of contract management—such as negotiating terms, preparing agreements, evaluating bids, and researching current regulations—are executed efficiently and accurately. Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Negotiate contracts for products and services, ensuring favorable terms for Sabert and its customers.
  • Evaluate contractor performance and recommend amendments to existing contracts as needed.
  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts between Sabert and prospective customers.
  • Address contract breaches promptly and efficiently to minimize disruptions.
  • Organize and maintain a master file of completed contracts and related documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with sales team members across all levels to ensure alignment.
  • Monitor the status of contracts at various stages of creation, renewal, and negotiation.
  • Track contract expiration dates and ensure timely renewal actions are taken before deadlines.
  • Maintain a master file of preferred contract language and phrasing for consistency across agreements.
  • Stay updated on regulations to ensure contracts comply with current laws and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with customers to ensure contract terms are being met and regulatory compliance is maintained.
  • Work in accordance with all company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety, quality, product safety and legality, security, and regulatory compliance as applicable.

What makes a person successful in this position?

  • Bachelor’s degree in law or relevant field
  • Previous experience as a paralegal is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience working with contracts or in a similar contractual or legal role
  • Previous experience with B2B sales preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of, contract documents, and legal specifications
  • Outstanding negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns
  • Exhibit strong written communication skills to clearly convey contract terms and intent.

What will my schedule be like?

This is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours a week our typical hours of operation are 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. We enjoy a hybrid work environment with 3 onsite and 2 remote days.
