Schwan's Company is seeking 2 Sr Customer Marketing Managers to drive commercial plans and collaborate across teams to achieve business objectives in the consumer foods sector.

We are adding “2” Sr Customer Marketing Managers (individual contributor) to our growing Consumer Brands business. These roles provide an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge, experience, and senior leadership exposure over the total CPG ecosystem from enterprise strategies to brand priorities to customer execution. You will be both the key architect of our commercial plans, as well as the key driver behind achieving them. You will translate business unit initiatives into accomplishable goals across our customer base, and then work to reach these goals by coordinating collaboration across the company - leveraging strong relationships with our senior sales leaders, our world class marketing teams, and any additional partners that are critical to achieving our objectives. Operating in the key intersections of our organization, your drive to deliver our commercial plan will become our unique competitive advantage.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead commercial plan creation and deployment, encompassing both base business growth (distribution, pricing, merchandising) as well as innovation across our customers.
  • Collaborate with top customer sales teams on strategy and execution, serving as their primary advisor as they work to grow our business at their customer.
  • Influence marketing teams as they set brand objectives, ensuring marketing strategies are aligned with customer strategies.
  • Function as the voice of the customer internally, providing valuable insight to both opportunities and areas of risk at the customer level.
  • Lead sales communication, ensuring consistency in execution across our sales organization.
  • Maximize sales readiness, by working with the marketing team to develop compelling sales materials and storytelling, including at the annual National Sales Meeting.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a customer or customer-adjacent role, with exposure to customer strategies, sales, trade, and marketing initiatives.


Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree and 8+ years the CPG or retail trade industry encompassing customer-facing roles, HQ sales planning, brand/business leadership, or category management experience.


Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $105,000 – $174,000 annually with eligibility for a 25% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The salary range represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
