The Senior Data Governance Analyst will architect and implement data governance capabilities at RRD, driving initiatives and building relationships across stakeholders to enhance data management and compliance.

Job Description
The Senior Data Governance Analyst role will seek to implement and architect data governance capabilities both technically and via policies within RRD. The Data Governance Analyst will need to be able to help drive current and future state governance initiatives throughout the RRD ecosystem. We are looking for an individual who is adept at building strong relationships across multiple different stakeholder groups, while also serving as a point person for data governance tools and process implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes and technical processes in order to formalize and architect governance solutions and implementations
- Develop, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure consistency and compliance
- Document policies, processes, and initiatives in order to drive the Governance Program forward
- Create Data Quality, Data Governance, and overall data management workflows and approval checkpoints
- Train individuals of varying experience & roles to utilize RRD’s Data Catalog and other technologies involved in Data Governance
- Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to design solutions for continuous improvement and governance
- Act as a representative for Data Governance in meetings and communications across multiple different teams and products
- Help align business stakeholders on governance initiatives and directives
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance data governance effectiveness
- Provide expertise on data governance risks and their potential impacts to operations
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Bachelors degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Stewardship, Information Security, Data Privacy or Business Analysis is required.
- Certification in security, privacy, governance, or product management is a plus
- Experience with administrating, implementing, and training of Collibra’s Data Catalog or other equivalent meta-data catalogs
- Experience in one or more programming languages
- Experience dealing with both health based information as well as financial based information
- Knowledge of Advertisement and Digital Marketing processes is a plus
- Excellent technical problem-solving and analytical ability.
- Strong commitment to high performance and a solution-oriented culture.
- Understand Data Catalog basics and foundations, preferably Collibra
- Be able to align governance capabilities with product and business capabilities in order to drive mutually beneficial outcomes
- Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure and on-Premise to cloud boundaries & communications
- A drive to learn and understand the perspective of others, and good at educating non-experts on complex topics and tools
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and ability to work independently
- Possess a working knowledge of multiple technology stacks or their foundations, primarily cloud driven stacks such as Snowflake and AWS
- Possess an understanding of Data Security and Privacy fundamentals in order to appropriately make governance decisions revolving around sensitive data elements
Additional Information
The national pay range for this role is $74,600 to $132,500 / year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
