Sr Digital Insight Analyst
LOCATION
Hybrid (Tuesdays through Thursdays in-office at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA; remote on Mondays and Fridays)
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Economics, Marketing or related field; Graduate/MBA degree preferred, 2 years of analytics experience in retail marketing or business insights, strong financial and analytical acumen, and familiarity with digital marketing measurement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support digital marketing analytics, drive data-driven decision making, create testing plans, optimize marketing channels, communicate insights effectively, and provide ad-hoc support to internal teams including senior leadership.

The Sr. Digital Insights Analyst will enhance digital conversion efforts within the Membership and Digital pillar, collaborating with various teams to leverage data for strategic marketing decisions.

Sr. Digital Insights Analyst
The Sr. Digital Insights Analyst will support the Membership and Digital pillar of the Enterprise Analytics Team. Reporting directly to the Director of Digital Analytics, we are looking for a thought partner who will take a data-driven approach to improve our digital conversion efforts, specifically for the marketing function. In this highly visible role, you will collaborate with senior leaders in Enterprise Analytics, Marketing, and Digital as well as the Executive Leadership.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
Provide analytic support to drive data driven decision making and strategy across digital marketing
Be a thought partner in the creation of testing plans for both digital and non-digital channels as well as providing “next level” insights related to the measurement of tests
Mine data to identify opportunities to optimize marketing channels and campaigns more effectively
Be relentless in the pursuit of value-add insights through the utilization of an “answer first” approach to analytics
Communicate results of analysis in a thoughtful, concise manner via “high impact” emails and presentations
Champion the incorporation of loyalty economics in our decision making and analytics
Support marketing in executing and measuring brand and digital performance marketing campaigns
Provide ad-hoc digital insight support to other groups inclusive of the C-suite
Job Requirements:
2 years of analytics experience preferably in retail marketing, business insights, consulting roles or equivalent graduate-level academic experience
Strong financial and analytical acumen to make strategic recommendations
Ability to think critically and persuade business decisions with the use of data and analytics
Willingness to learn how to apply advanced ML/statistics/financial modeling to marketing analytics
Familiarity with digital marketing measurement, best practices, and operations
Strong communication skills resulting in the ability to translate complex analyses to non-technical audiences
Strong project management skills with experience developing and executing multi-stage workplans
Working knowledge of visual analytics platforms such as Tableau/Alteryx/SAS EG and relational databases
Working knowledge of at least one data/analytics programming language (e.g. SQL/SAS/R/Python) a plus but not required
Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Economics, Marketing or related field; Graduate/MBA degree preferred
This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJs Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
