Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or financial/accounting, over 5 years of experience in business, knowledge of US GAAP, experience in large manufacturing organizations, advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, and strong communication capabilities.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Xylem is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for AWS Commercial Finance to support financial performance across several business sites, aiming to exceed customer expectations through innovative water solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly R&O for 3 CBS sites in AWS, specifically updated trends on Orders, Sales, Margin and any other commercial finance items. Upload of weekly flash projections into One Stream.
- Monthly reporting of Orders and Sales by Segment, Site, Market and Product.
- Assist in preparation and revamp of Commercial MBR presentation for applicable sites/segments
- Support coordination of the budget and forecasting activities understanding the year over year changes, and related upload of information into the One Stream system.
- Coordinate and partner with SIOP team and PLM’s to reconcile Order outlooks with demand planning.
- Create interactive dashboards to analyze the latest backlog and product margin trends.
- Prepare and distribute Daily Dashboards for Orders and Sales using Business Objects.
- Monthly tracking of Price Realization reporting vs budget, forecast, and prior year for sites in Segment
- Coordinate and support SG&A expenses for the Segment including Sales/Marketing, Product Marketing, G&A and Customer Service.
- Support month end close, forecast and budget planning for Morton Grove, Buffalo and Guelph including sales and orders analysis, standard margin, price/mix and other applicable items.
- Ad hoc reporting in support of other AWS sites and segments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or financial/accounting with +5 years of business experience
- Must have a working knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“US GAAP”)
- Experience working in large Manufacturing- oriented organizations
- Must have the ability to engage business process owners in a direct yet professional manner, thoroughly evaluate business processes, and quickly identify potential control gaps.
- Requires demonstrated skill in written and oral communications and interview skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in financial systems such as HFM or One Stream and related forecast/budget preparation.
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized. Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
- Business Objects and/or similar database query skills
