The Role
We are looking for a Sr Manager, Growth Marketing - Paid Channels to drive Cometeer's customer acquisition strategy on key platforms, with an emphasis on our paid social presence. In this role, you will work closely with the entire growth, product and data teams. An ideal candidate will be a self-starter who independently and consistently seeks opportunities to improve our existing acquisition efforts, generate revenue opportunities, run effective A/B tests, and enhance the customer experience across the board at Cometeer. They also need to be a supportive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high impact and cross-functional work environment.
What you'll do:

Campaign Strategy and Planning:
- Develop comprehensive paid media strategies aligned with our overall marketing goals and target audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, target demographics, and market trends.

Paid Advertising Execution:
- Create, manage, and optimize paid campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Direct Mail, and other relevant channels.
- Craft compelling ad copy, visuals, and landing page recommendations to ensure maximum engagement and conversion rates.
- Monitor budgets and spending, adjusting bids and allocations as needed to optimize campaign performance.

Audience Targeting and Segmentation:
- Identify and refine audience segments for each campaign based on demographics, behaviors, and interests.
- Utilize data-driven insights to improve targeting accuracy and campaign effectiveness.

Creative Development:
- Create captivating ad copy that resonate with the target audience and encourage clicks and conversions.

A/B Testing and Optimization:
- Continuously monitor campaign performance metrics and optimize on an on-going basis
- Implement A/B tests for various ad elements (copy, visuals, landing pages) to improve campaign outcomes.
- Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Generate regular performance reports showcasing key metrics and insights to share with stakeholders.
- Use analytics tools to extract actionable insights and adjust strategies accordingly.

Stay Abreast of Industry Trends:
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to paid media and digital advertising.
- Apply new knowledge to enhance campaign strategies and tactics.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ yrs experience; subscription experience is a bonus
- Strong strategic, analytical thinker with outstanding verbal and written communication skills that support the ability to distill complex information into compelling narratives ("the elevator pitch")
- Experience building and launching high performing acquisition programs
- Strong background in analytics including customer data, order data, and site performance data—with the expertise to determine a comprehensive strategy and tactical actions based on results
- Ability to develop, test, and potentially implement hypotheses based on specific analytical inquiries and strategic objectives
- Solution-oriented approach to problem solving that is grounded in data-based decision-making; does not "boil the ocean" to find answers to questions
- Understands how to prioritize and tackle problems that vary in size and complexity
- Ability to work well independently and in close collaboration with teammates
- Positive, compassionate individual who treats colleagues and customers with respect
