We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager with a passion for building and developing talent to lead the Global Leadership Programs team, Amazon's core leadership development programs for Business and Product leaders worldwide. The GLP team believes that being the earth’s most customer-centric company and earth’s best employer, we need the earth’s most innovative leaders. GLP designs leadership experiences to challenge and empower Amazon leaders to invent new ways of leading, equipping them to adapt and respond to a changing world. This is a high visibility role with broad reach and global impact. This role will influence the full lifecycle of Business & Product leader talent development, with a focus on growing and developing senior leaders (L7-L8). We need a strategic leader who can Think Big and Deliver Results at scale.
Key job responsibilities
- Leveraging technology, customer obsession, and product management best practices to build global learning products and programs from the ground up.
- Working with senior leaders (Director/VP+) to develop the long-range vision and roadmap for L7/L8 Business and Product leader development.
- Leading a multi-functional team of 4-6 program managers and to design, facilitate, and scale our flagship training programs for L7/L8 Business and Product leaders.
- Continually striving to raise the bar on our training experiences by measuring the impact and seeking customer feedback to determine areas for improvement. Developing and executing evaluation strategies for programs
- Partnering with key stakeholders across the global Consumer organization to identify top development needs for Business and Product leaders, and scaling best practices.
- Understanding the needs of global teams, especially in emerging countries.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements and opportunities for innovation and simplification.
- Working with and coaching senior leaders on facilitation and public speaking skills
- Influencing key stakeholders to continually invest in training.
- Experience engaging and influencing senior executives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $160,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $265,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
