QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree (BS or BA), 7+ years of experience in product development within B2C and/or B2B technology businesses, experience with IoT/hardware products, strong presentation skills, and preferably experience in industrial markets and SCRUM/Agile methodologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Define connected product requirements, develop strategic roadmaps, collaborate on product ideation, prioritize stakeholder inputs, build cross-functional partnerships, assist in Marketing for product differentiation, train Sales teams on new features, and conduct competitor analysis. Travel up to 25% may be required.

SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Sr. Product Manager for Connected Products will define and manage connected hardware products and collaborate across teams to drive new product delivery and market awareness within Regal Rexnord's Connected Solutions group.

The Sr. Product Manager – Connected Products is responsible for defining and managing connected hardware products within Regal Rexnord’s Connected Solutions group. This position will collaborate closely with Product Management, Sales, and Engineering teams across Regal Rexnord to develop strategic roadmaps for connected products and smart power transmission systems, thereby driving the delivery of new hardware products and features.
A successful candidate will demonstrate the capability to define and present 3-5 year growth strategies to Senior Leadership while working within cross-functional, global development teams. This role requires an individual contributor adept at collaborating with other internal product groups to identify opportunities, build business cases, define requirements, and implement new connected product solutions. Additionally, this position will work with Corporate Marketing to generate market awareness and highlight product differentiation.
The ideal candidate will possess experience with digitally enabled solutions or platforms and show a strong drive for execution and ownership. Required Experience
  • BS or BA
  • 7yr+ professional experience in product development environment with B2C and/or B2B technology businesses
  • Prior experience with condition monitoring, connected products, or IoT hardware products
  • Ability to independently lead and deliver multiple concurrent workstreams under time constraints with minimal instruction
  • Demonstrated excellence in presenting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Prior experience in industrial markets a plus
  • SCRUM/Agile experience a plus
General duties
  • Collect and assess feedback from customers (VOC), stakeholders, and partners to define connected product requirements
  • Develop strategic roadmaps for connected/smart power transmission components aligned with company vision
  • Collaborate with system architects, engineers and other experts on front end research and ideation to expand portfolio of innovative connected product solutions
  • Prioritize and make informed trade-off decisions by gathering inputs from various stakeholders
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships within and outside the Connected Solutions group
  • Collaborate with Marketing to generate market awareness and highlight product differentiation
  • Assist in training internal and external Sales teams on new capabilities/features
  • Develop analysis of competitor core product capabilities
  • Willing to travel up to 25%
