We partner with stakeholder teams like Amazon Business, which since launch (2015) has surpassed $25B in sales, attracting millions of business customers to Amazon. BISS offers a wide variety of products that span almost every business customer vertical and is a major engine of growth for Amazon. This Sr. Product Manager (NON-TECH) role within the BISS team will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of products and features that drive impact to our customer shopping experience. You will own a dedicated product and feature roadmap and deliver on key priorities for the business, setting short and long-term goals for your deliverables. You will do this while working with a talented cross functional team of PMs, VMs, ISMs, and MMs while influencing other teams and their roadmap. You will define the problem(s) we are trying to solve, desired customer experience, vision, tenets, and product strategy, with focus on a Business-specific customer vertical. You are passionate about identifying a compelling, profitable assortment that will delight our customers. You have experience analyzing data, driving cost out of the supply chain, and developing new businesses. You enjoy building profitable businesses and getting into the details of a P&L. You have an amazing level of intellectual curiosity, strong financial acumen, a high degree of ownership and integrity, and a high attention to detail. You are an independent self-starter who thrives in connecting people and ideas and have a strong entrepreneurial drive. You excel at communication and are comfortable with playing a lead role in a highly visible organization. You coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive growth and process improvement for your business. Key job responsibilities The Product Manager's primary responsibilities will include working across private brand stakeholders throughout BISS to: - Launch physical products by coordinating across creative, commercialization, packaging, compliance, supply chain, and marketing teams - Contribute toward process improvements in the product development workflow across different use cases (e.g. rebrand, refresh, re-source etc.) - Evaluate the online and offline assortment across channels and determine the right selection (based on product types, attributes, brands) for us to assort and scale on .com based on market trends and customer needs analysis - Work across cross-channel and cross-functional stakeholders to determine optimal sourcing models, cross-channel pricing, promotional, and packaging strategy, product road-mapping, and selection launch timelines. - Partner closely with supply chain to drive scalable process development, operational planning (e.g. safety stock, cross-channel allocation strategy, forecast consolidation etc.) and understanding of comprehensive financial analysis to support forecasting/inventory investments. - Influence executive decision-makers, helping them to understand the brand, desired product positioning, key points of difference, and target customer. - Collaborate with other members of the BISS team including Commercialization, Pricing, and Instock Management. - Partner closely with cross functional teams including the retail category teams, marketing, product development, legal, product compliance, social responsibility, finance, and transportation to deliver on net revenue and customer satisfaction. - Develop a thorough understanding of the market segment, seasonality and global trends/events, and continually monitoring competitor efforts. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
