As a Senior Product Marketing Manager in the Go-to-Market Commercial (GTM:C) team at Indeed, reporting to the Manager, Go-to-Market Commercial, you will play a key role in supporting how we communicate and deliver value to employers globally. You’ll help employers of all sizes understand how Indeed can help them hire by assisting in leveraging market insights to deliver impactful positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for Sponsored Jobs. Sponsored Jobs empowers customers to advertise their jobs on Indeed, helping businesses attract candidates and hire faster.

You will contribute to representing the voice of the customer (Employer) by leading research briefs to gain insights through in-depth market and customer research. This includes understanding user segmentation, personas, and customer journeys, as well as showcasing Indeed’s differentiation through competitive analyses. You’ll collaborate on developing product positioning and messaging grounded in customer insights and validated through research, aligning with internal business partners (Product, Sales, Brand, UX, Strategy, etc.). Your work will extend to leading messaging frameworks and external communications like web content, email campaigns, and PR strategies.

In this role, you’ll execute go-to-market strategies for new product and feature launches. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to drive adoption and engagement, support the development of training content, and help develop customer-facing assets such as landing pages, emails, videos, one-pagers, talk tracks, product demos, and case studies. By sharing customer insights and contributing to business cases, you’ll provide valuable feedback to the product roadmap and help influence strategic recommendations.

By partnering closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams, you’ll promote the voice of the customer and contribute to positioning Indeed as a thought leader, supporting the overall success of Indeed’s mission to help people get jobs.

Responsibilities

  • Customer-Centric Research: Represent the voice of the customer by conducting in-depth market and customer research, analyzing user segmentation, personas, and customer journeys, and showcasing Indeed's differentiation through competitive analyses.
  • Positioning and Messaging: Develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and narratives grounded in customer insights, validated through research. Create and maintain messaging frameworks, including data claims and customer evidence, to guide external and internal GTM partners.
  • Cohesive Storytelling across Channels: Drive product storytelling across external-facing channels (e.g. web, email, PR, thought leadership) and internal-facing channels (e.g. collateral, talk tracks, training content) to tell a cohesive narrative when combined. Gain alignment on new and updated messaging with business partners from Product, Sales, Brand, UX, Strategy, and others.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution: Drive product and feature adoption through end-to-end GTM strategy, planning, and execution of product launches. Project manage key deliverables and report progress across various forums, documents, and tools.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Build trusted relationships with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to champion the voice of the customer, influence the product roadmap, and contribute to business OKRs. Manage expectations throughout research and GTM processes and align on messaging priorities.
  • Thought Leadership and Advocacy: Position Indeed as a thought leader in the industry, act as an ambassador for your product internally, and leverage customer insights to shape business cases.

Skills/Competencies

  • 6+ years of relevant combined experience in product marketing and/or customer success, product management, strategy, and sales; experience in Technology, B2B SaaS helpful but not required
  • You have a proven ability to craft compelling narratives with written and verbal communication
  • You are an excellent customer advocate and use data to make informed recommendations
  • You take initiative and are a critical thinker who has a POV and challenges norms with insights
  • You have an analytical mindset and can track performance to understand what is, or isn’t, working
  • You can balance high-level strategy and tactical execution
  • You build trusting relationships with your peers and work effectively across remote and global teams

Salary Range Transparency

US Remote 120,000 - 168,000 USD per year

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
