Hybrid role based in Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Florida with frequent travel within the East Region.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 10 years of experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) sales, preferably in the ice cream or frozen food industry. Bachelor's degree required. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across the East Region of the United States, with a primary focus on Florida. This role is integral to driving sales growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding our market presence.
Role Overview
The Sr. Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding our market footprint through strategic planning, account management, distributor and channel development, and team leadership. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area, requiring frequent travel within the East Region.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and market share goals.
- Identify new opportunities within the territory, focusing on grocery retail key accounts and down-the-street sales in Florida.
- Partner with internal and external teams to create collaborative sales and marketing programs.
Account Management and Customer Relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners.
- Negotiate trade promotions and monitor customer business plans, trade budgets, and sales volume performance.
- Actively visit key accounts and prospective customers to strengthen partnerships and foster new relationships.
Team Leadership and Development
- Manage and mentor a field team of four, including merchandising and sales development professionals.
- Lead training and support initiatives to enhance team performance and distributor engagement.
- Serve as a liaison between field teams and leadership to align strategies and objectives.
Distributor Management
- Evaluate and manage distributor performance to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Educate distributor teams on Gelatys’ products and brand story through meetings and events.
- Oversee inventory levels and depletions to ensure smooth distribution.
Forecasting and Market Analysis
- Monitor and analyze sales data to provide accurate forecasts and insights into market trends.
- Provide feedback on market demand, competitor performance, and customer preferences to inform strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in consumer packaged goods (CPG) sales, preferably in the ice cream or frozen food industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Bilingual English and Spanish are preferred.
Skills:
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Expertise in managing customer relationships and distributor networks.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Financial acumen, including P&L management.
Other Requirements:
- Must be based in Florida with the ability to travel frequently.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $85,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience.
- Commission structure and PTO.
