Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven social media campaigns that drive engagement, build brand awareness, and foster customer loyalty. This role requires an experienced professional who can collaborate across departments, manage a growing team, and stay ahead of trends to ensure the brands social presence is dynamic and impactful.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Execution:

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing goals, focusing on brand awareness, engagement, and customer retention.

Lead and manage all social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube), ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with brand values.

Oversee the creation, scheduling, and optimization of engaging content (including images, videos, and written posts) that resonates with target audiences and increases reach.

Content Creation & Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with the creative team, product marketing, and other departments to ensure cohesive content that supports product launches, campaigns, and brand storytelling.

Identify new opportunities for user-generated content, influencer collaborations, and partnerships to amplify brand messaging.

Ensure the development of high-quality visuals, videos, and copy that are optimized for different platforms and audiences.

Community Management & Growth:

Engage with followers, responding to comments, inquiries, and direct messages in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.

Monitor social media conversations around the brand and relevant industry trends to identify growth opportunities and potential issues.

Foster and grow a vibrant social community, increasing follower count, engagement, and customer loyalty.

Social Media Analytics & Reporting:

Analyze social media performance data to generate actionable insights that inform future strategies and improve KPIs (e.g., reach, engagement, conversion rates).

Produce regular reports on social media activities, successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Use data-driven insights to iterate on content, campaign performance, and audience targeting.

Trend Spotting & Innovation:

Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and new features to continuously evolve the brand's social media presence.

Explore emerging platforms and tools to expand the brands digital footprint, identifying new ways to engage with target audiences.

Develop creative and innovative ideas that push the boundaries of social media marketing.

Leadership & Team Development:

Lead, mentor, and develop a growing social media team, providing guidance and direction to ensure a high-performing and motivated group.

Collaborate with external agencies and freelancers to support content creation, campaign development, and paid media execution.

Manage the social media budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact and growth.

Paid Social & Advertising:

Work closely with the performance marketing team to plan and execute paid social media campaigns that drive traffic, conversions, and brand awareness.

Oversee the creation of social ad creatives, optimizing for performance and ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.

Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.

3+ years of experience managing social media for a brand or agency, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

Demonstrated expertise in managing social media platforms, tools, and analytics.

Strong content creation skills with a deep understanding of what performs well across different platforms.

Experience working with paid social media strategies and tools.

Proven ability to lead a team and collaborate across departments.

Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
