SHORT DESCRIPTION
Join Lyra Health as a Senior Social Media Specialist to enhance their brand presence, engage audiences in mental health discussions, and create impactful social media campaigns.
About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Be the voice of Lyra on social media, oversee daily monitoring, tracking, and community management of all channels
- Own proactive engagement with industry and trending conversations, fostering engagement within the mental health community and build a thriving Lyra social media community
- Ensure brand consistency in copy and creative through tone, voice and terminology
- Foster engagement and build a thriving social media community
- Serve as an advocate for mental health
- Manage our editorial calendar and own content planning with oversight from head of social
- Own our editorial and publishing workflows, including scheduling, approvals, and message tagging, within Sprout Social and Asana
- Make ongoing recommendations for net new content formats and creative optimizations
- Ensure DEIB and real-time world event considerations are applied to all content
- Drive cross-functional and social-led campaigns, while overseeing all evergreen editorial and social-led content
- Copywriting, editing, and creative development of social-led content and cross-functional campaigns
- Ability to work collaboratively with a design and video team, familiarity with Canva
- Identify and quickly act on real-time content opportunities
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teammates in Product Marketing, Events, Content, Growth Marketing, Provider Marketing, Customer Marketing and more
- Comfortable working with executives and subject matter experts (clinicians, product leaders, etc.)
- Own weekly internal digests for employee advocacy and customer mentions
- Use our advocacy tool, email, and Slack to manage employee advocacy and key customer mentions
- Craft weekly internal comms digests and share with head of social for approval
- Report on monthly performance, quarterly social listening, and as-needed social media audits
- Measure our progress and make optimization recommendations using insights from our social media tool, Sprout Social
- Publish reports in Slack and on Confluence
- Support the development and expansion of our core social media strategy and social-led programming
- Identify new opportunities to elevate Lyra’s social media presence and programming
- Support Head of Social with day-to-day needs
- Potential to own the launch and management of net new social media channels (i.e. Instagram, TikTok)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of social media marketing; diverse industry (i.e. tech, healthcare, lifestyle, etc.) and audience (i.e. B2B, B2C) background preferred
- Strong knowledge of major social platforms (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and social media tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Canva)
- Demonstrated experience developing social media content and copy that drives engagement with key audiences and supports business goals
- Ability to understand key target audiences and utilize content and tactics to reach each effectively
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Keen eye for detail, including attention to word interpretation
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment
- Strong proficiency with visual design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and project management tools (i.e. Asana, JIRA) a plus
