SHORT DESCRIPTION
Genesys is seeking a Sr. Video Creative to produce high-quality video content that enhances brand engagement, supports marketing initiatives, and adheres to production best practices in a dynamic environment.
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished final products, incorporating motion graphics, animations, sound effects, and other enhancements.
- Optimize video content for various platforms (social media, websites, webinars, events), ensuring the format, style, and messaging are appropriate for each.
- Stay up to date on the latest video production trends and tools to continuously innovate and improve the company’s video content strategy.
- Partnering with designers, using programs like Figma.
- Mentor video production team members and provide guidance on best practices.
- Manage relationships with external production agencies, freelancers, and vendors when necessary.
- Creating and maintaining Video Toolkits for use with After Effects and Premiere.
- Creative direction as it pertains to shoots, edits, animations, and graphic packages.
- Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity.
- Lead the end-to-end production of video projects, including concept development, scripting, filming, editing, and post-production.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to create engaging content that aligns with the company’s goals and voice.
- 7+ years of experience in video production with a portfolio to match.
- Expertise in video editing and motion design software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Experience with studio and field production, including setting up and operating professional video equipment (cameras, lighting, sound).
- Deep knowledge of proxy workflows and transcoding.
- Strong storytelling skills and the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging visual content.
- Knowledge of video optimization for social media, websites, and other digital platforms.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and consistent quality
- Engagement and project accountability in Asana, our project management tool.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, on-brand content.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the SaaS or tech industry.
- Familiar with modern camera, lighting, and cinematography techniques.
- Experience as a camera operator is a plus.
- Basic understanding of graphic design.
- Familiarity with marketing concepts and how video content can drive engagement and conversion.
