SHORT DESCRIPTION

Lead individualized guest-facing emails, triggered workflows and automated campaigns as a Sr. Email Developer.

This position is responsible for leading individualized guest-facing emails, triggered workflows and automated campaigns

Primary Job Duties

  • Lead HTML development of new and existing individualized guest-facing emails, triggered

workflows and automated campaigns.

  • Independently implement a variety of scripting solutions and execute exceptional project

management.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to execute and scale email campaigns.

Clearly articulate and partner to develop and review requirements across the business.

  • Execute while strategically creating processes as well as suggesting data-driven optimizations

to support our rapidly growing brand.

  • Define email and web development standards and contribute to SOPs, guidelines, and best

practice documentation.

  • Test code in multiple browsers and device variations for errors and compliance.
  • Adhere to CAN-SPAM and other required standards for email marketing.
  • Contribute to A/B and multivariate testing to improve email performance.
  • Ensure Lifecycle, Content, UX/UI and Marketing Automation work together to create journeys

and enhanced guest experience.

  • Dive into issues and incidents as they occur and perform ad hoc analyses to solve or escalate

complex problems.

  • Provide development support for website experiences.
  • Remain current on latest email and web development industry trends and provide

recommendations for application and execution within the organization.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATION and EXPERIENCE required in order to meet the

expectation of this job:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, IT or a related field and 4+ years of

experience working in email and web development, with high-volume web/email experience.

  • Mastery of HTML/CSS.
  • Working knowledge with email marketing tools and analytics platforms. Demonstrated ability to

analyze and understand data.

  • Experience with enterprise ESP platform required; Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud preferred

– Journey Optimizer, Experience Platform, and Journey Analytics.

  • Ability to understand and execute creative HTML solutions for ambiguous problems.
  • Strong understanding of API development and integration possibilities in the consumer marketing

space.

  • Experience with major CMS platforms, such Adobe Experience Manager

  • Experience slicing, optimizing, and exporting graphics.

  • Able to manage time and juggle competing priorities to execute high-quality deliverables.
  • Experience working closely and development relationships with Creative, UX, and IT partners and

stakeholders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
