Position Description
As a Sr. Product Manager, you will be the primary liaison between the development group and healthcare teams and will lead a team effort to develop exciting new products from inception through commercialization. You will partner with surgical and digital engineers, commercial teams, surgeons and internal/external colleagues to determine user requirements, product needs, conduct evaluations, develop branding, create guides, and implement sales and surgeon training strategies to successfully execute a highly impactful product launch.
You will define customer journeys and translate requirements into user stories. You will employ a data-driven approach to evaluate product and team performance and establish and maintain a positive, proactive, high-energy, collaborative, and engaging working environment.
To be successful in this role you must be able to communicate and collaborate with surgeon and sales teams and be able to confidently present to customers.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the aprevo® product portfolio defining the product vision through launch and communicating it effectively to stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Lead product launches and downstream product management. Activities include developing sales support collateral, customer and targeting/prioritization, communicating to the sales team, leading marketing campaigns, and educating surgeons and sales representatives.
- Lead upstream product development marketing activities such as surgeon management, product definition, pre-clinical and clinical evaluation/validation, labs, budgeting, forecasting, planning, and working with the regulatory team on 510k submissions.
- Develop marketing plans, pricing strategy, account targeting, product evaluation plan, and go-to-market strategy.
- Partner with Marketing Communications to create a messaging strategy and develop marketing assets such as surgical techniques, sales collateral, and patient communication tools
- Communicate strategic milestones and due dates to all stakeholders, ensuring information is available and complete, including to executive stakeholders
- Obtain insights by engaging key opinion leaders and customers; participate in key sales situations including society meetings and conferences
- Build strong partnerships with sales management, sales reps, supply chain, operations, product development, quality, regulatory, etc. to ensure alignment on priorities and achievement of objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related discipline required, MBA preferred
- 8+ years of product management work experience, preferably in the orthopedic device industry, specifically the spine industry
- Strong knowledge of the lumbar and cervical spine market required
- A track record of launching successful software and hardware products in the healthcare space
- Experience with cloud-based and AI-driven software systems
- Experience shaping product strategy and roadmap
- Experience defining and prioritizing customer needs and deriving product requirements based on the needs
- Experience developing and presenting content for technical/non-technical senior management
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal communication, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Able to travel between 15-40%

Compensation
We are pleased to provide a competitive salary and benefits. Our benefits reflect our investment in the overall health and well-being of our employees and their families. including paying 100% of monthly healthcare, dental & vision insurance premiums, a 401(k) plan with employer matching and unlimited PTO. The expected pay range is: $135,000 to $165,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on related skills, experience, and relevant key attributes.
