Are you the person we're looking for?
Experience. Proven experience with successful Program management (10+ years). Working knowledge of how scrum teams work and Agile practices. PMP certification strongly desired
Skills. Experience with using Atlassian solutions (Jira and Confluence) for reporting & data analysis. Also has experience writing JQLs and building dashboards and reports, adept at using Jira gadgets
Time zone flexibility. You will be supporting the team across the globe with hours that accommodate multiple time zones. This role will need to be flexible to participate in meetings that can be early morning or late evening. This is not your traditional 9-5 job.
Education. Successful completion of a Bachelor of Computer Science, or an Engineering degree is highly preferred but minimum a bachelor's degree in any other field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. You're not just comfortable engaging in collaborative discussions but initiating them as well. You are skilled at reading and adapting to different communication styles and managing technical discussions. When you speak you are clear and concise. Your strong listening skills foster connection with Engineering and Product and allow you to accurately collect the right information so you can resolve issues in the most expedient way. You will be the primary point of contact for the Program, providing them with information, updates, and support throughout the program. Clear and effective communication is crucial to ensure participants understand their role, responsibilities, and the program's benefits.
Initiative. You don't wait around for things to happen or for your manager to tell you what to do. You're not only proactive about completing your own work, but when you sense the need to introduce a project that will benefit the team or the organization - even if it's outside your scope of work - you put a proposal together, talk to the team about it, and own it. And that also goes back to having an entrepreneurial spirit.
Strong attention to detail. The Conga revenue lifecycle management solution showcases a wide variety of use cases, across multiple regions and languages. Being able to quickly conduct QA campaigns and provide feedback to both Agency Partners and internal stakeholders is necessary for success.
Natural collaborator. You work effectively with developers, Business Analysts, Product Mangers and Testers to draft test plans and test cases from an established set of requirements. You are proficient with Agile and a collaborative cross functional approach to building awesome software. You are comfortable working with teams and collaborating on best practices across multiple Agile teams. You constantly seek opinions and solicit feedback to create the best work possible. You don't know any other way. It's a team effort and you completely appreciate that approach.
Resourceful At Conga, we achieve together- when you have questions, you find answers; when you're faced with challenges, you find solutions. You turn to a variety of resources, including your colleagues, professional network, Internet, articles, books - whatever helps you get the job done. Then you apply that knowledge across the business where it makes sense.
Quality oriented. You rarely make mistakes because you have good processes in place to ensure that every detail is correct. But in those rare occasions when errors are realized (let's face it, it happens to the best of us from time to time), you own them, correct them, learn from them, and then quickly adjust and communicate processes to ensure the same mistake doesn't happen twice. It's your transparency, authenticity and humility are what sets you apart from the rest.
Here's what will give you an edge…
Experience. Experience with a Saas Software Platform; Experience working with business applications such as ERP, CRM, HRMS, ATS, CLM and CPQ products. Experience leading scrum teams and working with Agile practices. PMP certification strongly desired.
Innovative Thinking. You should be able to think on your feet and pivot easily when things need to change or move in a different direction to make our early adopters successful. You should be able to be innovative with finding new and creative solutions for problems we haven't run into before.
Relationship Building. As the program manager, you will foster strong relationships with Engineering and Product leaders, acting as a liaison between them. Building rapport, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience for participants will help drive engagement and successful results.
Analytical thinker and creative problem solver. You can see issues holistically and follow the flow of the stack to get to the root of the matter - a key skill in this role. But where you really shine is with your ability to identify creative solutions to unique customer requirements. This is critical for ensuring our customer issues are resolved in a manner that meets or exceeds their expectations without increasing their costs.
