LOCATION
Tumwater, Washington (In-person and hybrid work)
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Project Management or related field; minimum of 3 years experience in similar roles; experience with scheduling, logistics, data collection, and Learning Management Systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate logistics for training events, manage data collection and reporting, oversee training center responsibilities, ensure technical support and resources are available for training delivery, and assist with quality assurance and evaluation.

The Statewide Development Coaching Coordinator is key in organizing and managing professional development training for public child welfare employees and caregivers, ensuring effective communication and logistics for successful training events.

The Alliance for Professional Development, Training, and Caregiver Excellence (The Alliance) is a partnership between the UW School of Social Work; Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF); Eastern Washington University School of Social Work; UW Tacoma School of Social Work and Criminal Justice; and Partners for Our Children.
The Alliance works to increase the capacity of Washington’s social workers, partners and foster caregivers to support community wellness. We provide education and programs in a variety of modalities so that each adult learner can retain the skills needed to continue to succeed.

The Alliance’s work spans throughout Washington State and has team members throughout the state. Because of this, many of our roles are hybrid and require both remote and in-person work. As a part of the Alliance team, this position will be expected to work, in person, in Tumwater and attend quarterly, in-person, All-Alliance meetings, which take place throughout the year at our three regional training hubs (Delridge, Spokane, Tumwater) as well as at the School of Social Work at the UW Seattle Campus.

The Alliance has an outstanding opportunity for a full time Statewide Development Coaching Coordinator. This position is an integral part of the professional development education and training system for public child welfare employees, foster and relative caregivers and their community partners.
The Statewide Development Coaching Coordinator attends in-person training at the Tumwater Training Hub and manages the training room scheduling and class setup, room monitoring, administering feedback surveys and coordinating the center’s technology for training delivery. The Coaching Coordinator works closely with Alliance and contracted trainers to benefit the workforce and foster parent training audiences.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coaching and Training Coordination and Communication (40%)
o Create calendars and schedule presenters for Supervisor Core Training.
o Email participants with make-up sessions for SCT.
o Prepare class information for entry into electronic training management systems (internal and Dept. of Children and Family Services) for Motivational Interviewing courses.
o Use data to use across different spreadsheets to track participants per coach, coaching sessions per learner, and participants that reached MI fidelity.
o Manage and communicate about enrollments to trainers.
o Communicate w/ participants about classes, including enrollment status, pre-requisites, cancellations, and refer to the help desk as needed.
o Distribute, collect, and analyze participant survey and evaluation data.
o Receive attendance logs, record attendance in the training system and store logs for records management and summarize training attendance information.
o Send pre- and post-learning event communications (e.g. class reminders, surveys, follow-up information and evaluation reminders).
o Track coaching and coding in the Learning Management System.
Support the Quality Assurance and Data Information Manager (QADIM) in data collection regarding regional activities used to create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports (40%)
Training Center responsibilities (15%)
Other duties as assigned (5%)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
