This is not your typical sales role. As an Enterprise Sales Executive at Vanguard, you’ll have the chance to work on both shorter and longer sales cycles, selling innovative marketing solutions to key decision-makers in New York City's thriving business ecosystem. Whether you're closing six-figure deals or nurturing strategic partnerships, this position offers a dynamic and highly rewarding challenge.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own the Entire Sales Cycle: From lead generation to closing, you’ll take charge of your territory and pipeline—turning prospects into long-term clients.
- Generate and Close High-Value Opportunities: You'll prospect new accounts, cultivate relationships, and sell comprehensive print, promotional, and digital solutions designed to drive ROI for your clients.
- Engage with Clients Onsite: Meet face-to-face with clients 2-3 times per week in the NYC area. Be the face of Vanguard, building rapport, understanding client needs, and delivering impactful solutions.
- Upsell and Cross-Sell: Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and introduce additional services. Keep clients engaged by helping them scale their marketing strategies over time.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with internal experts to develop tailored proposals that meet clients' evolving needs and exceed expectations. From design to operations, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our diverse teams to deliver results.
- Hit Strategic Sales Targets: Set the bar high—consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals while managing multiple opportunities and negotiations at once.
- Build a Strong Network: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to raise awareness of Vanguard’s offerings, and bring in new leads.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2-3 Years of B2B Sales Experience (marketing, print, or promotional products is a plus). You’re comfortable navigating long sales cycles and closing six-figure deals.
- Proven Track Record: A history of meeting and exceeding sales targets, especially in consultative or solution-based selling.
- Consultative Selling Style: You’re not just pushing products; you listen, understand the client’s business needs, and offer the right solutions that drive real value.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication—whether it’s delivering a proposal, negotiating terms, or presenting to executives.
- Self-Starter with Initiative: You thrive in an autonomous environment, driving your business development efforts without constant oversight.
- Relationship Builder: You know how to establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, even in complex sales cycles.
- Negotiation Savvy: You can navigate complex negotiations, close deals effectively, and ensure mutual benefit for both the client and Vanguard.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with marketing solutions and trends in print and digital media. Bonus if you're already an expert in these areas!
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (ideally in Business, Marketing, or a related field).

Pay: $80,985.00 - $92,628.00 per year
