Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Strategic Marketing Manager to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of marketing strategies for our resort properties. This role will focus on driving brand awareness, guest acquisition, and revenue growth through innovative and effective marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, resort marketing trends, and consumer behavior, with the ability to create compelling campaigns that resonate with target audiences. Our resort properties have large components that are residential based and having experience in that product type is desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Create comprehensive, data-driven marketing plans for resort properties that align with business objectives, target audience, and brand positioning.
- Brand Management: Lead efforts to maintain and enhance the brand identity of the resort properties, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and guest touchpoints.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer preferences, using insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
- Digital Marketing Leadership: Oversee and manage through our internal agency the digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, website optimization, and paid media. Collaborate with internal agency teams and external agencies to drive digital presence and engagement.
- Content Creation and Strategy: Oversee through collaboration with our internal agency the creation and distribution of engaging content across multiple platforms, including websites, social media, print materials, and email newsletters. Ensure that content is aligned with the resort's brand voice and guest experience.
- Collaborative Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with the sales, operations, and guest services teams to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with business goals, operational capabilities, and customer satisfaction.
- Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI across various marketing channels and campaigns.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and report on key marketing KPIs (e.g., website traffic, conversion rates, social engagement, and revenue growth). Use analytics tools to track campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Guest Experience Focus: Leverage insights into customer preferences to enhance the guest experience, creating personalized marketing and loyalty programs that drive repeat visits and positive reviews.
- Partnership Development: Cultivate relationships, in collaboration with our agencies, with local businesses, tourism boards, influencers, and media outlets to expand the resort's reach and visibility.
- CRM Management: Develop and execute on a plan to leverage our CRM to maximize marketing opportunities through the platform including e-mail campaigns, text campaigns, and other data drive campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in strategic marketing roles, with at least 3-5 years of experience in the hospitality, resort, or travel industry. Proven success in managing integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of resort marketing, consumer behavior, and travel industry trends.
- Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Proficient in marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, email performance tracking).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to think strategically while also managing day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives.
- Experience in content development and creative direction.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software tools (e.g., Meta Business Manager, SEMrush, Salesforce, etc.).
