About The Role

As a Strategic Account Executive for Seegrid Corporation, your focus will be to grow the sales of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) in the North American market. The candidate should have a strong network of contacts and selling experience in one of the following industries: automotive manufacturing, general manufacturing, food manufacturing, logistics, distribution/warehousing, or material handling. This position reports to the Director of Sales and will be responsible for increasing company profits by growing business with current customers and acquiring new customers within an assigned market territory or industry. This position does not require relocation to company headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Achieve or exceed the annual sales target
  • Increase business by finding and qualifying new business opportunities using sales techniques to cross-sell and up-sell
  • Travel to customer or prospect facilities to assess viable AMR applications to meet the customers' needs
  • Quantify business value and ROI for customers' investment in AMRs
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend and sell specific solutions
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial prospect engagement to closed sales
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on demand generation activities to drive revenue growth
  • Develop and maintain strategic account plans that identify opportunities for company to deliver value, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes and forecasted sales
  • Cultivate strong relationships with third party and partner companies that may be required to deliver full solutions to customers
  • Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings
  • Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects
  • Identify sales support requirements and work with sales operations to develop and improve sales tools and processes
  • Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years solution selling to Fortune 500 enterprises - generating leads, qualifying opportunities and effectively managing a large pipeline
  • Demonstrated success exceeding or achieving sales goals
  • Demonstrated proficiency in forecast accuracy and account planning
  • Ability to work as part of a team and be coachable to Seegrid's sales process
  • Ability to establish CxO level relationships
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation, professional writing, and negotiations
  • Aggressive, self-starter, hunter mentality, comfortable in fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Salesforce and LinkedIn

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related experience preferred
  • Commercially astute; ability to structure and negotiate complex contracts
  • Established contacts and relationships in automotive manufacturing, general manufacturing, food manufacturing, logistics, distribution/warehousing or material handling
