Subscription Marketing Manager

QUALIFICATIONS
4-5 years of experience in subscription or campaign-based marketing, hands-on experience with marketing tactics and channels, proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, understanding of Google Analytics, and ideally a BS/BA in Marketing or Communications.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
As a Subscription Marketing Manager at Spiceworks, you will create and implement marketing strategies for the Cloud Help Desk software to enhance subscriber growth and optimize engagement through data-driven approaches.
- Develop highly targeted multi-channel campaigns and implement strategies for cross-sell and upsell
- Manage paid, owned and earned media, from planning to implementation and optimization across channels such as Email, Social Media, SEO, Display and SEM, Software Review Sites and Product Directories
- Grow subscription numbers for both free and paid products
- Use marketing intelligence, customer insight & analysis to understand audiences and effectiveness of campaigns
- Understand and report against engagement program KPIs; forecast, track, analyze and report on activities
- Oversee campaign processes, including lead reporting - collaborate effectively with marketing team members to build and execute programs for maximum results, and enable testing of new channels for future scalability
- Drive brand engagement, customer satisfaction and lifetime value
- Build dashboards to easily monitor customer marketing KPIs
- Excellent understanding of subscriptions marketing including retention, acquisition, lifecycle marketing
- Hands-on experience with marketing tactics and channels (SEM, SEO, Display, Content Syndication, Events, Review Sites, Email, etc)
- 4-5 years minimum experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platform
- Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
- Proven experience in a subscriptions marketing role or similar campaign-based role
- Ability to work across multiple teams to collect information and gain consensus
- A good understanding of Google Analytics & WebTrends
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills, ability to balance multiple project and deliverables
- Ideally BS/BA in Marketing, Communications or a similar field
