Hightower is offering a 10-week paid summer internship for a digital marketing intern in their Web Platform team, focusing on website initiatives, SEO optimization, and analytics support, while providing professional development opportunities and exposure to the financial services industry.

Hightower’s Summer Internship Program:
Our Interns have the chance to learn more about Hightower’s culture and businesses while developing practical skills necessary for future success and post-graduate opportunities. The 10-week summer program includes weekly conversations with C-level professionals related to career development, networking opportunities with Hightower with fellow interns and colleagues, and engaging workshops related post-graduation skills and money management. The program culminates with a final presentation given to Hightower executives and managers
The summer internship program is aimed to provide opportunities to:
- Learn directly from industry experts by having weekly 1:1 conversation related to career development
- Attend workshops related post-college career paths and personal development
- Gain exposure to the financial services industry
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of specific team and department initiatives and goal
The internship will run from June 4th, 2025, to August 8th, 2025 and is a paid position.
Your Future Team
Hightower is looking for a digital marketing intern in our Web Platform team to support our corporate and advisor website initiatives. The position is a detail-oriented role responsible for supporting multiple cross-functional teams and products. The position will support the release plan, product roadmap, and support of multiple solutions in the areas of marketing, growth, and technology. The role is directly supporting the analysis of platform enhancements, requirements elaboration, and the delivery of business value through system changes. The digital marketing intern reports to Hightower’s Web Product Manager as part of our Advisor Engagement & Growth marketing team.
What You’ll Do
- Search Engine Optimization: Optimize website content for SEO, readability, and user experience, using best practices and analytics insights. Conduct SEO audits and create meta data
- Web Analytics: Support Hightower’s usage of Google Analytics. Sets up and maintains advisor Google My Business Accounts, actively reviews and monitors GA reports to identify trends and pain points
- Translates features and business requirements into documented solutions, including user stories and enhancement requests
- Assists in solution definition and design with business and development team stakeholders
- Supports the development process. Assists with user story/feature acceptance, data analysis, and test data creation.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Basic understanding and interest in SEO and Google Analytics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with martech platforms such as HubSpot, Sprout Social, and WordPress
- Ability to work in a team environment
