SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Sustainability Content Lead will craft a content strategy for Schneider Electric’s software portfolio, driving awareness and user engagement through various content formats and marketing efforts.

Job Description:

The Sustainability Content Lead will join a highly dynamic marketing team focused on driving awareness and new users for our growing software portfolio, which includes Zeigo by Schneider Electric. This creative go-getter will be responsible for crafting a comprehensive content strategy, managing the content calendar, and analyzing content performance to optimize our software portfolio’s digital presence. The person in this role will be pivotal in creating compelling marketing and educational content for existing software users as well as potential customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • In-Product Content Strategy & Development:
    • Develop and execute the content needs within our software products collaboratively with the product and customer success teams, optimizing for user engagement and new user growth.
    • Content in support of our software products includes, but is not limited to articles, guides, eBooks, emails, newsletters, webinars, and videos.
  • Inbound Content Marketing Leadership
    • Develop and execute a content marketing strategy that aligns with the company's goals and target audience's needs.
    • Coordinate and maintain the marketing content calendar to ensure timely publication of high-quality content across various channels that resonates with our audience.
    • Manage and update website content to ensure accuracy, freshness, and alignment with brand messaging.
    • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for user experience across all channels.
  • Content Marketing & Sustainability Expertise:
    • Stay up to date with content marketing trends, SEO updates, and industry best practices to keep our content strategy ahead of the curve.
    • Stay up to date with sustainability and renewable energy developments in the market to maintain strong subject matter expertise
    • Contribute to the creative brainstorming of campaign ideas, promotional concepts, and content topics.
  • Measurement and Insights:
    • Track ongoing user traffic and user growth and content engagement, recommending improvements and reporting on results
    • Monitor the new user welcome series and make recommendations for improvement focused on engagement and software logins
    • Use testing and growth hacking principles to formulate and test hypotheses for improved content conversions.
    • Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to optimize strategies and increase engagement and conversions.
    • Implement SEO best practices to enhance the visibility and ranking of our website and blog content in search engines.
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $96,000 - $144,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 15 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date), opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Sustainability and/or renewable energy subject-matter expertise is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in copywriting or content marketing is essential.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience marketing software and/or promoting digital products a plus.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate them into effective marketing content.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with WordPress content management systems and marketing automation tools.
