As the SVP of Marketing, you will translate business objectives and market trends into cohesive go-to-market strategies to scale our portfolio of domains, collaborating closely with the CEO and executive team to execute initiatives aligned with company strategy and financial goals.
You will build and lead a high-performing omni-channel marketing group, overseeing multi-channel demand generation including paid media, content marketing, social media, affiliate marketing, email campaigns, and SEO while holding accountability for both topline and bottom-line outcomes. By developing success metrics and implementing KPIs, you will provide actionable insights on trends, challenges, and market opportunities to senior leadership. You will be accountable for overall brand management, refining value propositions to enhance brand awareness and market differentiation, and serve as a trusted expert on the secondary ticketing market. Additionally, you will establish standard operating procedures for consistency and efficiency, ensure compliance with industry regulations and data privacy laws, collaborate across teams to ensure consistent messaging, and represent TicketNetwork at industry events to communicate our brand and marketing advantages.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Translate business objectives and market trends into cohesive go-to-market strategies to scale a portfolio of B2C domains
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to execute marketing initiatives aligned with company strategy and financial goals
- Follow executive guidance to create a high-performing omni-channel marketing group, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration
- Oversee this multi-channel demand generation, including paid media, content marketing, social media, affiliate marketing, email campaigns, and SEO/organic search
- Through partnership with executive team, develop an understanding of defined success metrics for marketing channels and performance-manage the channels
- Provide suggestions and examples of actionable insights to the senior leadership team on trends, challenges, and market opportunities
- With direction from executive leadership, execute overall brand management, continuously refining value propositions to enhance brand awareness and market differentiation
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to report to the executive team thereby allowing novel strategy creation
- Serve as a trusted expert internally and externally on the secondary ticketing market and each domain's unique value proposition
- Based on a vision outlined by executive leadership, champion marketing efforts with a focus on brand positioning, customer experience optimization, and go-to-market execution
- In collaboration with executive team, develop and implement strategies for expanding market share using both inbound and outbound approaches
- Monitor marketing performance and use data-driven insights to optimize channel-specific strategies to the executive team and then implement the approved strategies through delivered results.
- Formalize marketing processes, measurement tools, and reporting mechanisms to provide leadership with results of implemented strategies
- Collaborate with client-facing, product, support, and contact center teams to ensure consistent messaging across all customer interaction points
- Act as an ambassador for TicketNetwork at tradeshows, networking, and industry events to communicate brand and marketing strategy and advantages to third parties
- Search, justify the business case, and partner with the PMO, BI, and technology leadership to implement new tools and integrations to provide on-demand competitive intelligence
- Partner with Legal to ensure all marketing activities adhere to industry regulations, data privacy laws, and advertising standards specific to the secondary ticket market
- Directly oversee the marketing budget, including resource allocation, expenditure forecasting, and ensuring a strong return on investment for marketing initiatives
- Establishing standard operating procedures for the marketing channels to ensure consistency, efficiency, and visibility across workstreams
