Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Systems/Security Intern to support the management of SHB Technology’s internal systems and assist in creating engaging security-related content for our social media platforms. This hybrid role combines technical hands-on experience with creative content development to enhance SHB’s internal operations and external presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and maintaining SHB’s internal IT systems, including troubleshooting and configuration.

• Perform basic security audits and provide recommendations for system improvements.

• Research cybersecurity trends and help implement best practices in the company’s systems.

• Collaborate with the team to develop creative and informative social media content focused on cybersecurity awareness and SHB’s security initiatives.

• Support the documentation of system configurations, processes, and security policies.

• Contribute to other IT-related tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a college program (Junior, Senior, or Graduate level) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and system management.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for technical and creative content.

• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
