Skanska USA Building Inc. (Skanska) is looking for a full-time Technical Writer to join our Technical Writing team, which is part of our larger Marketing team. In this role, you’ll partner with marketers, operations personnel and other team members across the U.S. to help Skanska win new construction projects through creative and compelling proposals. If you enjoy writing and have technical writing, communications, marketing or public relations or experience, this role may be a perfect fit.

The Technical Writer will partner with marketing, communications and operations to coordinate, manage and develop content for deliverables like proposals, project case studies, and other marketing/sales materials. You will be responsible for transforming complex or technical processes and ideas into engaging, relatable and persuasive content and crafting compelling case studies that illustrate the ways in which our strategies benefit and add value to our customers. As a Technical Writer, you will interview team members locally and across the country to identify and capture project-specific approaches to preconstruction and construction.

Proposal Writer Required Qualifications:
      • 3+ Years experience in a technical/proposal editing/writing role or similar capacity.
      • Highly experienced with Microsoft 365
      • Exceptional writing, editing and verbal communication skills
      • Bachelor’s Degree – Journalism, English, Communications or similar or equivalent experience
