The Kendo house of brands currently includes: Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, Fenty Eau de Parfum, Fenty Hair, Ole Henriksen, KVD Beauty, Lip Lab.

The salary range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00 per hour based upon a San Francisco location.

Temporary Marketing Assignment: February 2025– July 2025

POSITION SUMMARY

The Temporary Associate Manager, Global Brand Marketing – Fenty Skin supports the Global Marketing team in creating and executing innovative, cost-effective, and best-in-class 360 degree brand marketing strategies and plans for Fenty Skin. Serves as a key Marketing liaison to KENDO cross-functional partners, Sephora cross-channel partners, vendors, and agencies. The ideal candidate would have 3-5 years of experience in brand marketing, be passionate and knowledgeable about marketing and beauty (especially our brands), and savvy in experiential and digital/social activations. Some travel will be required for activations.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support team in developing the overall Fenty Skin marketing strategy and multi-faceted 360 marketing plans across functions/channels.
  • Manage marketing activations, including but not limited to:
  • Advertising – social, digital, out of home, experiential – with media agency and internal affiliates
  • Fenty Skin inclusion in retailer channel marketing – single and multi-branded animations and campaigns
  • Social Media Strategy – collaborating with Fenty Skin Social team, pitching for Sephora social channel inclusion, and Fenty Beauty channel cross collaboration
  • PR communication strategy, plan, and material development
  • Develop framework of content strategy and assist in creation – including video content, influencer marketing, and brand ambassadors
  • Work collaboratively with internal dotcom team to ensure aligned support for marketing plans
  • Sponsorships and Partnerships
  • Promotions and/or Sampling strategy partnership
  • Retailer store events and brand-led events
  • Campaign collateral (bounce backs, signage, fliers, etc. as needed)
  • Cultivate and apply a keen understanding of the brand's business, priorities, and overall skincare category.
  • Communicate to and educate peer-level team members on approved plans and help ensure the plan stays the course, while being flexible to course-correct should the business needs change.
  • Develop presentations to communicate marketing strategy and plans with the purpose of getting internal buy-in and buy-in from leadership and retail partners.
  • Write briefs and motivate cross-functional teams at kick-off.
  • Manage and allocate budgets across marketing levers; own tracking spend and approvals on spending.
  • Analyze data and new trends to develop insights that generate ideas for the brand.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing or brand management on brand and/or agency side.
  • College degree in business, communications or marketing or equivalent experience; beauty/retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ability to deliver strong, polished, effective PowerPoint presentations.
  • Effective relationship-building skills; professional savvy and organizational agility to leverage partnerships across the organization to get work done.
  • Entrepreneurial – able to cope with ambiguity and work independently with little or no direction.
  • Exceptional organizational skills; detail-oriented.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate obstacles and also quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
