Job Summary


Crossover is seeking a Senior Copywriter who will contribute to the company’s growth initiatives by expertly and efficiently creating content across all of the brand’s platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating and consuming digital content and for writing both long and short format content. S/he will be personable, efficient and a high performer in a fast-paced, dynamic company environment and will be responsible for writing and editing content for our marketing initiatives, contributing to creating and maintaining a cohesive brand voice, and deepening engagement with our members, clients, employees and industry.

Job Responsibilities

  • Write copy from concept through to completion based on input from stakeholders with a keen understanding of the creative process

  • Partner effectively with a cross-functional team to ensure campaigns and projects are cohesive, elevated, and well-executed

  • Write and edit copy to meet creative briefs objectives for a variety of channels, including print, email, web, product/client launch tactics, member campaigns, PR, internal comms, video, and more

  • Self-editing, copyediting and proofing to align with the brand voice

  • Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to understand and contribute to the Crossover vision for member engagement, lead generation and advancement

  • Bring new content ideas and formats of storytelling to Crossover

  • Ensure messaging is consistent across the company through various channels such as B2B, B2C, brand and industry.

  • You will act as a brand guardian by maintaining brand tone, standards and high quality output, a pride for accuracy and the highest possible standards in an impactful and creative manner.

  • Complete all assigned work on time and regularly report the status of projects to the Creative Team

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of experience in either advertising, marketing, communications, or journalism and/or coursework

  • Three years of design/marketing agency experience understanding how to meet client demands, and the cross-functional production cycle in a fast-paced environment

  • Superior written, verbal, presentation and visual communication skills and can perform well with clients, partners, colleagues, and other related parties

  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while functioning as a member of a highly collaborative, distributed, and cross-functional team

  • Experience working with external agencies and creative teams

  • Solid understanding and experience in a wide variety of digital, social media, and channel communications preferred

  • Proficient in general Apple Software, Google Productivity suite, social media optimization, and Asana.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to work both collaboratively and independently

The base pay range for this position is $47.31 to $54.40 per hour. Pay range may vary depending on work location, applicable knowledge, skills, and experience. This position will be eligible for 401K.
