JOB SUMMARY:

As a Territory Business Development Manager at USA Industries LLC, you'll serve as the ambassador for our cutting-edge products in piping isolation, tube plugs, heat exchanger tools, and flow measurement equipment across the power, oil, gas, and chemicals sectors. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and nurture relationships with key clients and prospects within your designated geographic area. By providing exceptional service and support, you'll drive growth and satisfaction among our expanding customer base, both in equipment rentals and sales.

Your role will involve closely managing client requirements throughout various project phases, including upcoming ventures, turnarounds, and routine maintenance activities. This entails understanding clients' evolving needs and effectively aligning our offerings to meet and exceed their expectations, thus contributing significantly to the success and longevity of our partnerships. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Manage a designated geographic territory within the US, to achieve targeted sales goal volumes and margins.
  • Serve as a representative for USA Industries, promoting and selling our full portfolio of products.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention. Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Pre-qualification of opportunities by researching relevant industry occurrences, existing
  • customers, prospective companies, competitors, and their products.
  • Utilize a combination of self-generated leads and company-provided leads to identify and explore new business opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting for new clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, and industry conferences.
  • Prepare for and actively participate in trade shows to showcase our products and engage with potential clients.
  • Lead user meetings, appointments, and educational sessions such as "lunch and learns" to cultivate and expand business within the territory.
  • Develop and deliver formal and informal sales presentations and proposals tailored to the specific needs and interests of clients.
  • Effectively manage and maintain a territory sales pipeline, consistently updating data in the Company's CRM system.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales activity reports for regular sales meetings, including detailed information on calls, meetings, and competitive insights recorded in Salesforce.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as their applications within the target industries. Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions to clients.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients regarding product installation, application knowledge, and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
  • Collaborate closely with service teams involved in turnarounds and maintenance projects to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the key consultant for clients regarding their application needs, offering expert advice and solutions.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure contracts and close sales deals. Ensure all sales agreements are executed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison for USA Industries during after-hours operations, coordinating weekend and holiday support to address client emergencies on a rotating schedule.
  • Conduct training sessions for client service teams to enhance their understanding and proficiency with our products.
  • Support and facilitate client input into the ongoing development and direction of USA Industries and its product lines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Participate actively in bi-weekly sales meetings to provide updates on sales activities, share insights, and collaborate with colleagues to drive continuous improvement and growth.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new developments in the field of business development. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Execute various tasks, as assigned by your manager, supervisor, or company officer; whether within your standard duties or as requested beyond regular responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Degree in Business, a technical field, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Work Experience

  • Preferred minimum of three (3) years of experience as an Outside Sales Representative in industrial sales or the Chemical/Petrochemical industry.

  • Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit at a desk or in a vehicle for extended periods of time; good visual acuity to process paperwork.
  • Ability to lift, carry, bend, stoop, push, pull, and have manual dexterity.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned geographic territory, which may involve commuting long distances for client meetings, trade shows, and other business-related events.
  • Capacity to sustain energy levels and focus during long periods of travel, client meetings, and networking events.
