SHORT DESCRIPTION

Join USTA as a digital marketing intern for an 8-week program to gain hands-on experience in analytics, email marketing, and campaign measurement while promoting the growth of tennis in the U.S.

Who We Are

We are Tennis! The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the leader in promoting and developing the sport’s growth on every level in the United States, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open.

The Role

This is an 8-week program from June 10th through August 13th.

Working hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Hybrid schedule: Must be capable to work on-site 2-3 days per week at the Westchester Office.

Hourly rate: $20.00

  • Digital Analytics and Tag Management: Assist in implementing and managing digital analytics tags, developing strategies to ensure accurate data collection, and optimizing measurement frameworks.
  • Email Marketing and Audience Development: Support the creation and segmentation of email campaigns, contributing to audience growth and engagement initiatives.
  • Personalization Tools and Campaign Targeting: Learn to utilize personalization tools to deliver targeted and meaningful campaign experiences for our audiences.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze marketing performance data, create insightful reports, and assist in presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Campaign Measurement and Strategy: Ensure accurate tracking of marketing campaigns, evaluate their success through data-driven analysis, and provide actionable recommendations to business owners.

Who You Are

  • Earning degree related to Digital, Marketing, Data or Analytics
  • Strong analytics skills and familiarity with numbers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets - experienced using formulas, pivot tables, and building charts and visualizations
  • Comfortable working with large data sets and reviewing data and visualizations for accuracy
  • Basic SQL skills a plus
