What will you do?
A day in the life of a Coordinator of Retail Sales at Vans looks a little like this.
As the Retail Sales Coordinator you will play a critical role in developing, driving, and supporting Vans’ long-term retail strategy through annual strategic plans and seasonal execution. As an integral part of the Retail sales team, you will lead the Retail process enabling cross functional strategic planning, decision making and execution to create an aligned POV for the how the Brand and Retail shows up in the marketplace and to consumers. Your role will enable Brand and financial growth by balancing how to drive local relevancy while staying true to Global Brand strategies.

Manage the Ideation and Completion of the Following Projects
Collaborate with the Retail stakeholders to understand Americas strategies tied to short term and annual execution to ensure regional consistency.
What do you need to succeed?

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 5 years of experience and professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
Deep understanding of the Retail business each season, cross functionally within Consumer Insights, Product, Marketing, Creative, and how this applies to overall marketplace management for Retail
Excellent project management and organization skills with impeccable attention to detail and timelines
Ability to align functions, content and prioritize competing demands to decipher complex information into clear, actionable steps
Continuously think how to simplify and drive efficiency for your teams and to provide this feedback to Retail leadership to communicate regional nuances required, while staying true to Americas consistency
There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.
A holistic view of how the Retail teams interact and align to build towards common long term, mid-term, annual and short-term goals and how to link actions to financial planning and brand goals.
How to build cross functional strategies and take ideas into implementation in partnership with Product, Marketing and Creative teams, understanding global consistency & nuances to drive regional relevance
How to build and sustain positive working relationships with peers at all levels of the organization
