SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Vertical Marketing Specialist will drive marketing efforts for Advantech's products in the robotics and gaming industries, aligning strategies to business goals to generate awareness and demand.
- Plan and execute effective marketing campaigns leveraging a variety of marketing tactics to promote select Advantech products into assigned vertical markets.
- Lead generation through various marketing tactics for all stages of the buying cycle and marketing funnel.
- Own budget and execute paid marketing campaigns including paid social media campaigns, media programs, and advertisements to generate and nurture leads.
- Plan, execute, manage, and own all aspects of trade shows to ensure Advantech is seen as a leader in assigned vertical markets and industries.
- Create and localize marketing collaterals from concept to completion.
- Design and implement clear and effective email promotions, web pages, and landing pages.
- Optimize vertical corporate web pages to increase website traffic, conversions, and other key metrics.
- Research new and maintain existing online industry memberships, portals, and directories.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Design, and Marketing teams across global and regional offices to create original content, plan and execute events, and track campaigns.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a Business-to-Business (B2B) environment, with an emphasis on high-tech fields such as automation, robotics, or gaming. Specific experience with tech manufacturers is a strong plus.
- Experience managing trade shows or similar events from concept to completion.
- Experience designing & implementing email marketing.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other marketing automation tools a strong plus
- Experience with marketing data analysis with ability to extract business insight based on trends.
- Proficiency in use of business productivity tools such as Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, and Google Suite
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess efficient time management, strong organizational skills, is self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Positive and determined attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems, processes, plans, and programs.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time.
- Be up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing.
- 40-hours per week (full-time, permanent).
- 20% - 30% of travel, annually.
