The Vertical President of Fullsteam Marketing Services will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction and success of the Marketing Services organization by addressing the unique challenges of integrating diverse marketing technologies and leveraging data-driven insights to meet the evolving needs of small and medium-sized business clients. This role focuses on advancing SaaS Marketing and Embedded Marketing Services, including the integration of Ad Services, Website Development, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) into the core business management software and services tailored to various Fullsteam verticals, such as Retail, Field Services, and Salon. This is largely accomplished by innovating in customer engagement strategies and expanding Fullsteam's market presence through scalable, differentiated marketing solutions. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of strategy and operations, ensuring alignment with Fullsteam’s overarching strategy and long-term objectives, including revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and product innovation. The President will work closely with Fullsteam Business Units and leadership, as well as various shared services teams such as Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Pricing, and the Platform team, to foster growth and achieve operational and financial objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Set the strategic direction for Fullsteam Marketing Services, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate vision and long-term objectives.
  • Enable alignment between Fullsteam and the Marketing Services organization, ensuring the achievement of mutually beneficial objectives.
  • Develop and implement high-level growth strategies across the Marketing Services portfolio, including expanding customer acquisition channels, enhancing product bundling opportunities, and leveraging advanced analytics and AI to drive customer engagement and retention. Particular emphasis will be placed on scaling Embedded Marketing Services to align with the unique needs of Fullsteam’s verticals, ensuring both scalability and sustainability.
  • Oversee the integration and collaboration of various Marketing Services initiatives, creating synergies and operational efficiencies.
  • Work collaboratively with Fullsteam Business Unit Leaders and Business Units to integrate, scale, and support Fullsteam Marketing Services products and services.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets within the Marketing Services domain.
  • Establish and monitor performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational and financial excellence.
  • Hold teams accountable for achieving sales, revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals specific to Marketing Services.
  • Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Champion a customer-centric culture, ensuring that customer needs and expectations are at the forefront of decision-making within Marketing Services.
  • Oversee the financial performance of Marketing Services, managing collective P&L responsibility, ensuring that budgets, forecasts, and financial targets are consistently met.
  • Drive profitability through strategic resource allocation, cost management, and operational efficiencies tailored to the Marketing Services vertical.
  • Guide the development and enhancement of marketing and advertising products, with a specific focus on advancing Embedded Marketing Services such as Ad Services, Website Development, and SEO. Work closely with teams to innovate and improve offerings that seamlessly integrate into the core business management solutions across Fullsteam’s verticals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Finance, and Platform & Payments to align strategies and drive overall business objectives.
  • Ensure consistent communication and alignment across all Marketing Services initiatives and corporate functions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within Marketing Services.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Set performance goals and regularly evaluate the team’s progress, providing feedback and guidance to ensure high standards are met.

  • Represent the Marketing Services organization in executive meetings and contribute to company-wide initiatives and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to marketing services.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with Marketing Services operations, products, and services.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and governance processes.

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 13+ years of relevant experience within a technology, marketing, or software company, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in SaaS marketing, advertising technology, or integrated marketing solutions tailored to small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role and experience managing large teams and driving cross-functional collaboration at the executive level.
