Seeking a Vice President of Marketing to drive growth at Velosio through innovative strategies, customer acquisition, and brand enhancement while being a pivotal member of the executive leadership team.

About the position::
We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Marketing to lead the development of a high-performing marketing organization that drives growth for Velosio. As a vital member of our executive leadership team, reporting to our CRO, you will be responsible for formulating and executing innovative marketing strategies that enhance our brand presence, drive customer acquisition and retention, and support the company's long-term objectives.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution. You will be a data-driven marketer with a creative mindset, skilled in influencing and collaborating across departments to achieve impactful results. A deep understanding of B2B marketing dynamics, particularly within the technology sector, will be critical for your success in this role.

Your day might look like::
  • Value Proposition Development: Craft and articulate compelling value propositions that provide a competitive advantage for both new and existing products, while expanding utilization within the current client base.
  • Marketing Strategy Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans, outlining the necessary support and resources to achieve defined objectives.
  • Sales and Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with the Head of Sales to create a cohesive sales and marketing roadmap that optimizes lead generation and enhances engagement throughout the sales cycle.
  • Lead Qualification and Management: Establish and oversee a robust marketing funnel, ensuring that leads entering the sales pipeline are effectively qualified.
  • Multi-Channel Acquisition Strategies: Design and execute innovative multi-channel acquisition campaigns, working closely with product, sales, and technical teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze internal sales and marketing data to inform strategic decisions, providing actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Implement ongoing tracking, measurement, and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI) for marketing initiatives, delivering insights that drive strategic communication and brand initiatives.
  • Operational Excellence: Demonstrate the ability to translate high-level marketing strategies into actionable operational plans, having successfully developed and executed strategic marketing roadmaps in previous roles.
  • Demand Generation Expertise: Utilize expertise in volume demand generation to monitor lead funnel performance and conduct ongoing analysis for optimization.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Leverage a data-driven mindset and ROI-focused strategies to adapt marketing efforts based on insights, ensuring continuous improvement and momentum.
  • Strategic Resource Allocation: Exhibit strong strategic acumen in the allocation of marketing investments and resources to maximize outcomes while maintaining hands-on oversight for successful execution.
  • Revenue Growth: Maintain a proven track record of generating revenue and demand through effective marketing activities and campaigns.
  • Digital Marketing Leadership: Influence and lead initiatives across multiple digital marketing channels, including email, social media, partner marketing, SEO, and remarketing, in alignment with the company strategy.
  • Partnership Development: Foster strategic partnerships that enhance market presence and drive business growth.
  • Team Building and Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, demonstrating well-developed people management skills and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and success-driven work environment.
This ideal candidate must have experience at a high-growth B2B software professional services company, preference will be given to those with experience as a Microsoft Partner, and has experience and expertise leading all areas marketing, including but not limited to:

What you'll bring::
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a senior marketing leadership role within a high-growth B2B software or professional services organization. Previous experience in a VP or CMO capacity is preferred.
  • Proven Success: A strong track record of driving demand generation and achieving double-digit year-over-year growth in previous roles.
  • Strategic Acumen: Ability to translate business goals into actionable marketing strategies with a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of modern marketing technologies and analytics tools, including CRM and MarTech solutions.
  • People Management: Exceptional people management skills with experience building and leading high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Financial Literacy: Strong financial acumen and experience managing marketing budgets, ensuring that marketing spend is strategically allocated to trackable programs.
  • Education: An advanced degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
