This role will be pivotal in accelerating business development, fostering relationships with healthcare providers, home care agencies, and health plans, and driving new business opportunities to scale our services across New York and Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Development: Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth by identifying and securing new partnerships with home care agencies, health plans, and other healthcare organizations in need of Medicaid eligibility and enrollment services.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them optimize Medicaid enrollment and eligibility processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Industry Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of Medicaid regulations, eligibility requirements, and home care industry standards. Ensure all business development initiatives and partnerships align with industry laws and best practices.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing business development team. Encourage collaboration across departments to ensure that business development efforts align with the company’s overall goals and mission.
  • KPIs and Reporting: Track and report on business development performance, key metrics, and progress towards targets. Provide regular updates to the executive team and stakeholders on new partnerships, revenue generation, and overall growth.
  • Industry Representation: Represent SPS Community Solutions at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, particularly in New York and Pennsylvania, to expand brand visibility, strengthen relationships, and drive business development.

Qualifications:

  • Healthcare Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of Medicaid eligibility and enrollment processes, home care services, and health plan operations.
  • Sales Acumen: Skilled in negotiating and closing high-value contracts with healthcare organizations, home care agencies, and other key partners.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present complex ideas in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools, business development platforms, and data analytics software.

Personal Attributes:

  • Driven and Results-Oriented: A highly motivated leader with a relentless focus on achieving business development targets and scaling the company’s footprint.
