SHORT DESCRIPTION

The VP of Client Services will serve as a brand ambassador, execute strategies for client acquisition and satisfaction, and lead a high-performing team within Valiant Residential's multifamily management platform.

Description:

Be a brand ambassador—represent Valiant’s Residential multifamily management platform locally and nationally and personify Valiant Residential's values of being inclusive, driven, collaborative, and insightful.

As the VP of Client Services, you will report to the V.P. of Client Services and be responsible for leading, assisting, and executing strategies to expand our client base and enhance overall client satisfaction.

This role involves business development, relationship management, strategic planning, and marketing.

To be successful in this role, one must have a deep understanding of the multifamily industry, a proven track record in client hunting, and strategic prospecting skills to expand one's client base and drive revenue growth.

This role is based at Valiant Residential HQ in Dallas, TX.

Requirements:

Business Development

  • Develop and nurture relationships with local developers, ownership groups as well as national institutional investors to support their growth efforts and relationship with Valiant Residential.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities to expand on client portfolio through email marketing, cold calling, and networking through industry contacts.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of new multifamily property management prospects for the region or state.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients through the sales and transition process and then maintain a strong relationship as a compliment to the operations team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.

Multifamily Market Expertise

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of multifamily underwriting, property valuations, and the property management market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Leverage prior experience in multifamily to tailor solutions that meet the specific needs of clients in this sector.
  • Stay informed about industry developments to provide strategic insights for business growth.
  • Develop strategic plans to position the company competitively in the market.
  • Work closely with the executive team to align business development goals with overall company objectives.

Team Leadership

  • Working under the V.P. will bring a lot of opportunities to lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing client services and analyst team.
  • Create and improve upon processes in place with CRM, systems, and client procurement.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the team.
  • Coordinate with internal operations leaders to support client contract negotiations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of successful client acquisition within the multifamily property management industry.
  • In-depth understanding of multifamily property management trends and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to travel as needed but not more than approximately 10% of the time

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of third-party multifamily management and sales experience
  • Minimum 4 years of underwriting and property valuations
  • Proven track record of relationship-building with institutional and private owners
  • Internally motivated self-starter

  • Ability to solve problems quickly, handle multiple tasks, and organize resources in support of complex client and internal deliverables.
