Videographer

The videographer will capture and produce high-quality video and photography content that supports the strategic needs of the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support. The videographer will create content for a range of audiences to build awareness, drive engagement and enhance the reputation of the division. They demonstrate expertise in storytelling, project management, video and photography production to deliver compelling, creative solutions for digital communications.

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in media arts, graphic design, marketing, communications, journalism or public relations preferred.
  • Proven experience in video production, photography; including shooting, editing and post-production
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including but not limited to Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects

  • Strong understanding of storytelling, visual composition and cinematic techniques
  • Knowledge of camera operation, lighting, audio recording and other video production equipment

Edit raw footage to create visually appealing videos, incorporating graphics, music, voiceovers and other elements as needed. Use professional video editing software and techniques to produce polished final products. Optimize videos for different platforms and formats, including websites, social media channels, email campaigns and digital signage.
