SHORT DESCRIPTION

Create engaging and high-quality video content for multiple in-house brands by filming and editing various types of videos, ensuring alignment with brand voice and objectives.

The fundamental goals of this position are collaboration with the appropriate parties to create engaging, well produced and edited videos, that meet company objectives while communicating brand voice for all brands.


In this role, you will film and edit content for multiple in-house brands, producing a variety of video types such as commercials, tutorials, product videos, and lifestyle content. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical skillset in both filming and editing, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. You will be responsible for setting up and operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for each shoot, as well as editing the footage into polished final products that reflect the unique needs and voice of each brand.


Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Collaborate with the marketing team and stakeholders as applicable, to brainstorm creative concepts and develop video content by conceptualizing, scripting, and planning content that aligns with the brand's goal, style and voice.
  • Film and edit high-quality videos for a variety of content types, including YouTube videos, commercials, tutorials, and lifestyle videos.
  • Operate a variety of video equipment including cameras (preferably Sony Cinema cameras), gimbals, sliders, jibs, lights, and microphones.
  • Set up and break down all equipment before and after each shoot.
  • Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, ensuring tight deadlines are met with high-quality results. Proficiency in After Effects or Davinci Resolve is a plus.
  • Perform color grading, motion graphics, and apply lower thirds and MOGRTs to enhance the final product.
  • Ensure footage is shot and color-graded in RAW and Log formats, particularly Sony RAW and S-Log, with an understanding of Hybrid Log Gamma.
  • Collaborate with the team and key stakeholders to ensure video content meets project goals and brand standards.
  • Maintain a high level of creativity and technical expertise while staying organized and meeting deadlines.
  • Apply basic SEO strategies for YouTube to optimize video performance.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional videographer.
  • Proficiency in the operation of video-specific cameras, with a strong knowledge of the fundamentals of shooting (shutter speed, frame rate, exposure, etc.).
  • Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, with additional skills in After Effects or Davinci Resolve as a bonus.
  • Ability to balance and operate stabilizers, gimbals, and steadicams for creative shots.
  • Basic understanding of lighting techniques and strategies.
  • Familiarity with shooting and color grading RAW and Log footage.
  • Basic understanding of SEO strategies for YouTube.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Easy to work with, ability to listen to other’s input, take direction and work well as part of a team or independently.
