SHORT DESCRIPTION
The VP of Sales will lead new business sales for Daon's Americas business unit, focusing on driving revenue growth by targeting F500 clients across various industries through strategic planning, networking, and collaborative efforts.
Role Summary:
The VP of Sales will work with the Americas’ team to successfully secure new business for Daon. The role focuses on new company sales for America’s business unit. The successful candidate will take a lead role in driving revenue growth through direct acquisition of new customers through independent prospecting, utilizing existing contacts, and partnering with marketing on campaigns, webinars, as well as attending trade shows, and joint marketing events with strategic partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key target market is F500 customers, primarily Financial Services Industry, Healthcare, Telecom, FinTech, Travel, Insurance and other companies as agreed upon by the management team domiciled in Midwest, as well as strategic named accounts. Opportunity identification and pipeline development through a combination of networking, cold calling, opportunity pursuit, market knowledge/intelligence, and market development campaigns.
- Create, maintain and monitor a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievement within the designated market sector(s).
- Full management of sales process, including business development, opportunity qualification, and preparation of bid/no bid recommendations and pursuit of the end-to-end sales cycle to close deals.
- Developing and maintaining strong commercial relationships with End Customers, as well as System Integrators and Technology Partners where applicable.
- Working closely with the America’s team and other strategic contributors to devise medium- and long-term sales strategies.
- Working hand in hand with end customers to define their requirements and continuing involvement to ensure successful implementation.
- Working closely with all other parts of the company to ensure maximum leverage of resources.
- Growing Daon’s market segments through direct customer interactions.
- Quarterly Sales Review (QSR) presentation preparation and delivery.
- Build account plans and strategies for each target account.
Special Circumstances
- Frequent weekly travel within the territory as required (travel up to 50% time).
Profile, Skills and Experience:
- We are seeking a professionally experienced representative, someone who is extremely ambitious and wants to succeed!
- Must have Financial Services Sales experience with a background in the cybersecurity/Fraud, identity management space with a software or service provider.
- Must be high energy and dynamic in their approach to work. Must understand the culture of selling solutions and building strategic relationships.
- Proven commercial success selling direct to financial services/F500 caliber clients in the market.
- Management of good working relationships with end customers and technology partners.
- A proven track record of success driving consultative led complex solution sales/partnerships in over achieving quotas.
- High level contacts in key end customers, partners, agents with credibility and respect within this community are essential.
- Proven and consistent overachieve, notable achievements to be outlined, a verifiable.
- Opening up and referring new vertical market opportunities to the company.
- Experience selling complex, mission critical enterprise software into an emerging market and innovatively creating real market opportunities.
- Well-rounded individual who can drive sales process from cold calling to structured lead generation, tracking and managing sales pipeline, and management reporting and execution.
- Ability to think and act strategically whilst maintaining a pragmatic commercial perspective.
- Strong influencing style and presence; articulate and confident.
- Development of presentation and trade show materials.
- Highly committed, energetic, determined and “win-win” mentality.
Education & Qualifications:
- 15+ years’ business development and sales experience of new logo agreements.
- Bachelors in Technical/Business or relevant field required.
- Sales training including Consultative/Solutions selling.
- Fraud Solutions, and Fraud Space experience
- SaaS Sales experience
- Organic and creative Lead Generation abilities
- Effective Communicator and story teller.
- Get it done collaborative mentality with Engineering, Customer Experience, Legal, Finance, etc.
- Experience and adherence to keeping CRM up to date.
