SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Vice President, Influencer & Social Media Growth Strategy will lead strategy development and business growth initiatives at Real Chemistry, leveraging influencer marketing to transform healthcare experiences.
- Perform audit on existing capabilities (strategy, influencer, social, paid) and technology partners to inform recommendations
- Develop new strategic approach and author client-facing materials & resources to be utilized by all team members
- Evaluate current paid media process and provide actionable recommendations to optimize for growth
- Evaluate current measurement & evaluation (M&E) process and output and provide actionable recommendations to optimize for growth
- Understand and communicate Influencer best practices across paid and earned programs, including pricing, measurement, social strategy, paid media, and FTC guidelines.
- Support all starpower account teams/business leads from an influencer/social strategy perspective to help ensure consistency in approach across the business
- Collaborate with wider business to develop new/enhanced pitch decks and sales materials that clearly align starpower’s value proposition and best-in-class Influencer offering with current and prospective client needs.
- Leverage experience and knowledge of social media and influencer strategy to pitch starpower agency capabilities and expertise with new clients.
- Develop new business strategies, identifying key contacts and decision makers within target companies and fostering relationships with external stakeholders to unlock new clients for the agency.
- Lead/participate in RFP process, working closely with internal teams to develop and deliver agency response
- Proactively meet with starpower and Real Chemistry account teams to provide influencer and social lead ideas that can unlock new opportunities.
- Educate clients/prospective clients about the value of working with Influencers (including billable Influencer 101 sessions)
- Serve as a conduit between starpower, paid media and social media strategy functions to create a cohesive offering
- Business development and revenue growth KPIs to be discussed and mutually agreed upon
- Serve as a thought leader internally and externally on the topic of innovation in Influencer Marketing/Social Media
- Development of monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc (as needed) thought leadership articles and “state of influencer marketing” newsletters relevant to all starpower verticals/clients (e.g., health, consumer, beauty, spirits)
- Plan, coordinate, and execute starpower’s presence at industry-relevant events, panels, conferences, and festivals (e.g., Ad Week, PR Week, SXSW, Social Media Week, Cannes, etc.).
- Understand key competitors and their business strategies.
- Ideate and communicate the “What’s Next” in Influencer Marketing
- Drive the innovation of starpower’s Influencer marketing offering thru the identification, evaluation, and development of new tools/technology

- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, with deep knowledge in the entertainment and influencer marketing space.
- Superior relationship building skills, with proven ability to connect with clients and develop meaningful partnerships by inspiring confidence and trust.
- The ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams is a must.
- Strong project management skills with impeccable attention to detail and timelines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages, setting and achieving goals.
- A confident and successful negotiator who can creatively develop new business ideas.
- Experience of working with internal and external key decision makers.
