The VP Marketing will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies, manage a growing team, and drive innovative solutions to enhance customer communication and support sales efforts.
VP Marketing
The VP Marketing is responsible for development and execution of the corporate marketing strategy and managing a growing team of marketing resources. The leader must be able to develop and evolve the overarching organizational strategy as well as manage the day-to-day execution to meet the goals. They need to think creatively using traditional and unique solutions for communicating with customers while also attracting new prospects and supporting all sales efforts.
The leader must have an excellent understanding of all B2B marketing tools and technologies, as well as all common and evolving strategies to support the organization vision and drive results.
They must lead the growing marketing team through mentorship and guidance while also representing marketing across the organization and in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Excellent strategic skills for developing innovative approaches to exceeding organizational goals, while also being comfortable as an individual contributor where necessary.
- Responsible for setting strategy and messaging for the brand, current and new product launches, and all related materials including but not limited to: collateral, communications, events, social and digital presence, demand generation programs and all sales efforts.
- Developing annual marketing strategies and plans across all marketing disciplines including test and learn programs, in concert with VP of Revenue and Customer Success.
- Lead the development and execution of corporate brand positioning including an annual advertising campaign, to support all communication targets and channels: developing overarching strategies and execution plans for all marketing vehicles – e.g. social/digital, web, blog, etc. Testing new channels and messaging to continually optimize programs.
- Develop strategies, programs, and campaigns to drive high quality leads into the funnel, leveraging all appropriate and available channels of communication.
- Develop and manage strong digital communications strategy and execution to underpin branding, demand gen and customer engagement including SEO, Display, Paid Search, Retargeting, Social (paid & organic), and website optimization.
- Develop and manage an events strategy to improve industry relations, build brand equity and identify and nurture high quality leads.
- Develop and manage a robust customer engagement program improving overall customer relationships and supporting Account Based Marketing including the execution of an annual User Conference.
- Define, measure and report on team and individual OKRs that align with organizational goals.
- Support team members in the coordination of external vendors and partners.
- Provide both formal and informal leadership, reviews, and feedback to team members.
- Represent Marketing both internally across the organization, and externally to the industry.

- Hubspot CRM Experience
- Fluid with Digital media reporting, Google Analytics and Facebook Analytics

- Bachelor's Degree required and 3+ years of team leadership/management.
Compensation
$65,000 - $90,000 annually based on experience plus bonus
