The Role

Aspire is looking for its next marketing leader to take our fast-growing business to the next
level. This is a great opportunity to join and lead in a fast-paced environment, bringing the latest Martech concepts to market.

As a data-driven leader, you will define Aspire’s demand generation, product marketing, and customer strategies to attract, engage, convert, and retain the world’s top brands and marketing leaders. You will be responsible for executing the overall marketing strategy with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making and a ruthless focus on driving measurable results.

Being in command of Aspire’s marketing team will require you to be creative, find alternative and unexplored growth vectors while being laser focused on ROI. Every decision you make will be rooted in driving outcomes. You excel at “doing more with less” and are eager to tackle new challenges. You will take a highly calculated and scientific approach to deploying and allocating our marketing budget and resources.

This role requires a player-coach mentality, where you will lead a team while being hands-on in executing marketing strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Business Operations, to ensure alignment and success in meeting our shared company objectives.


What You'll Do

  • Lead the development and execution of targeted channel marketing activities to drive brand awareness, user acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, continually preparing and planning for continuous improvement of technology, people, culture, and process
  • Become an expert within our industry (social driven commerce / influencer / ambassador/ affiliate) and represent Aspire within internal forums and at external events (conferences, etc.)
  • Maintain strong knowledge of our industry’s and company’s KPIs and be able to execute relevant marketing efforts with agility
  • Drive data-driven decision-making by leveraging analytics and insights to optimize marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Allocate marketing budget effectively based on data analysis, ROI evaluation, and performance metrics – all tracked with detailed on weekly/bi-weekly time horizons
  • Oversee the development and implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and SEO/SEM.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to align marketing initiatives with sales goals and support lead generation efforts
  • Communicate campaign details to internal stakeholders and achieve alignment with our sales teams to maintain a cohesive messaging strategy
  • Develop customer marketing initiatives to support our customer success teams in driving customer advocacy and product adoption
  • Use our CRM and marketing automation tools (i.e. Marketo, Bizible, etc.) to understand and improve marketing results
  • Collaborate with the Product team to develop and refine the messaging and positioning of our platform
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of the curve
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, industry partners, and influencers to maximize marketing opportunities and partnerships
  • Track and report on marketing KPIs, providing regular weekly updates to the executive team on the effectiveness of marketing strategies and initiatives


Who You Are

  • 10+ years experience in a senior marketing leadership role in a technology/software environment (bonus points if tied to e-commerce enablement); ready to share and implement best practices on day one
  • 5+ years experience managing a functional unit in a SaaS setting; preference given to those with experience leading a team from 20M to 100M+
  • Proven positive impact on demand/lead generation metrics and performance indicators through leadership and expertise
  • Ability to bring a new level excellence to the demand generation function through the implementation of proven successful company-wide strategies that maximize revenue opportunities
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing complex, cross-functional projects and teams across an Agile environment with strategy definition responsibilities and direct interaction with product, partners, sales, and etc.
  • Strong project management and budgeting experience, as well as significant experience in developing and planning projects and achieving outcomes expected within anticipated timeframes
  • Demonstrated blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality using the resources available

Our compensation philosophy: we use a market-based approach to compensation. This means we use a series of compensation tools to help us understand how companies value this role in the U.S. market based on function, level, geographic location, and positions benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. To comply with local legislation and provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Multiple factors, including geographic location, candidate experience, and expertise, determine final offer amounts and may vary from the amounts listed above. We have competitive pay bands for all other countries based on market standards.

The base salary for this role is between USD $XXX,000 - $XXX,000 annually.
