Olive & Cocoa seeks a dynamic Vice President of Marketing & Sales to lead our team in creating cutting-edge strategies that deliver measurable impact. As an expert in digital marketing for online retail brands, you will shape and implement strategies that fuel customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth—all while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. This is a "fingers on keys" position where you will lead teams while also contributing as an individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and sales strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring sustained revenue growth and market competitiveness.
- Digital Marketing Mastery: Spearhead campaigns across digital platforms, including SEM, SEO, social media, email, and affiliate marketing, to maximize customer engagement and acquisition. Focus on data-driven optimizations to drive results.
- Catalog Circulation Management: Oversee the planning and execution of catalog marketing campaigns, ensuring they effectively drive engagement and sales.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage advanced marketing analytics to optimize performance across all channels. Monitor and interpret key metrics such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and return on investment (ROI).
- Brand Value Communication: Develop and execute strategies to clearly articulate Olive & Cocoa’s brand values across all customer touchpoints, enhancing brand perception and loyalty.
- Content Creation: Lead the creation and curation of compelling marketing content that drives engagement and supports business objectives.
- Hands-On Contribution: Take a direct role in implementing and optimizing digital campaigns, including managing platforms and tools to ensure high performance.
- Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of marketing and sales professionals, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
- Customer Insights: Develop and refine segmentation and targeting strategies to personalize marketing efforts and enhance customer experience.
- Collaborative Execution: Work cross-functionally with merchandise, creative, inventory, and operations teams to ensure cohesive strategies and impactful campaigns.
- Agency Oversight: Manage external agency partnerships, ensuring alignment with company goals and optimal performance.
- Promotional Calendar Management: Design and evaluate promotional initiatives to align with business objectives.
- Website Optimization: Oversee website presentation and performance, ensuring it serves as a compelling and effective sales channel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience running digital marketing for retail brands targeting direct-to-consumer and B2B audiences, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in catalog circulation and marketing is a plus but not required.
- Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and turn insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Working Conditions
This is a full-time onsite position at our Salt Lake City office. You will work in a professional office environment with access to state-of-the-art tools and technologies.
